Grammys 2027 Dates in Pakistan Time: Nominations on 16 November at 5:45 pm
The 2027 Grammy nominations come out on 16 November at 5:45 pm PKT. See every voting and ceremony date converted to Pakistan time, from the Recording Academy.
Short answer: The nominations for the 2027 Grammys will be announced on Monday 16 November 2026 at 4:45 am Pacific time. That is 5:45 pm in Pakistan. The awards show is on Sunday 7 February 2027 in Los Angeles. The Recording Academy, which runs the Grammys, published these dates on its own site.
Many Pakistani music fans ask the same thing every year: when do the Grammy nominees come out, and what time is that for us? The Academy gives its times in US Pacific and Eastern time. We did the conversion to Pakistan Standard Time (PKT) and show our working below.
We opened the Recording Academy's voting guide, its nominations announcement page and its submission guide on 17 October 2026 and read the dates from each. We also looked for any official page that names a Pakistani song on the 2027 ballot. We found none, so this page does not claim one.
The nominations come out on 16 November at 5:45 pm PKT
The Academy will announce the nominees for the 69th Grammy Awards on Monday 16 November 2026, from 4:45 am Pacific time (7:45 am Eastern). In Pakistan that is 5:45 pm the same day. The full list goes up on Grammy.com straight after, with a live stream on the official Grammys YouTube channel.
The sum is simple. In mid November the US West Coast is on standard time, which is 8 hours behind UTC. Pakistan is 5 hours ahead of UTC. The gap is 13 hours, so 4:45 am in Los Angeles is 5:45 pm in Pakistan. US clocks go back on 1 November, which is why the gap is 13 hours and not 12.
The Academy says a group of past winners and nominees will read out the nominations. It had not named them when we checked. After the announcement it plans a wrap-up show on the same channels.
First round voting runs until 22 October
First round voting for the 2027 Grammys opened on Monday 12 October and closes on Thursday 22 October 2026. This round decides the nominees in all 100 categories. Only Voting Members of the Recording Academy can take part. Fans, record labels and media companies cannot vote.
The Academy does not publish who is on the ballot before the nominations. So any report that a song is "in contention" before 16 November cannot be checked against an official list. Until then, the only fact anyone can confirm is whether a recording was formally entered, and the Academy does not make the entry list public either.
Every 2027 Grammy date, converted to Pakistan time
The Academy has set six steps for the 2027 season. Three are already past or running. The three that matter next are the nominations on 16 November, final round voting from 10 December to 7 January, and the awards show on 7 February 2027. The table below shows each date with the Pakistan view.
| Step | Academy date | What it means in Pakistan |
|---|---|---|

| Online entry period | 7 Jul to 21 Aug 2026, 6 pm PT | Closed at 6 am PKT on 22 August. |
| First round voting | 12 to 22 Oct 2026 | Open now. Members only. |
| Nominations announced | 16 Nov 2026, 4:45 am PT | 5:45 pm PKT on 16 November. |

| Awards show | 7 Feb 2027 | Evening in Los Angeles falls on 8 February in Pakistan. |
The awards show is on 7 February 2027 in Los Angeles
The 69th Grammy Awards take place on Sunday 7 February 2027 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The Academy says it will air live on ABC, Disney+ and Hulu in the United States. It had not published a start time in the pages we read, so we give none.
Los Angeles is 13 hours behind Pakistan in February. If the show airs in the evening in Los Angeles, as awards shows usually do, it will already be 8 February in Pakistan. Check the Academy's page closer to the date for the exact hour.
We could not confirm which service in Pakistan will carry the show. ABC, Disney+ and Hulu are US services and their Pakistan availability varies. The Academy's own YouTube channel and Grammy.com usually carry highlights and the winners list, and those open from Pakistan.
What changed for 2027, in short
The Academy added five new categories for 2027, including Best Asian Pop Music Performance. It also lowered the new-music share an album needs from 75 per cent to 66 per cent, and let an act be put forward for Best New Artist up to four times instead of three.
It also added Ballot Plus, an optional ballot that lets a member with credits in many genres vote in up to 15 related categories instead of the usual 10 plus 3. We explain the Asian pop category in our guide to Best Asian Pop Music Performance, and the entry rules in how a Pakistani song gets a Grammy nomination.

Be careful with "in contention" claims
A claim that a Pakistani song is "in contention" for a Grammy is unconfirmed until the Academy publishes the nominees on 16 November. The Academy keeps the ballot private. We looked for an official page naming a Pakistani song on the 2027 ballot and did not find one.
Social posts sometimes use the phrase for a song that was only entered, or only streamed widely. Entry alone does not mean a nomination. Wait for the list on Grammy.com.
