Karachi University Verification Fee 2026: Every Service, Normal and Urgent (Degree, Email, Embassy, Overseas)

Karachi University charges Rs 1,000 per document to verify a degree, transcript or marks sheet in 30 days, or Rs 2,000 for urgent service in 15 days, paid by pay order in favour of the "University of Karachi". We read the University of Karachi's verification fee schedule and its Examinations Department contact page on 31 October 2026. The schedule has ten lines, and picking the wrong one is the usual reason a request stalls. Below is every service with both prices, which one an employer or embassy actually needs, and how to pay from Pakistan or abroad.

Every Karachi University verification fee, normal and urgent

The schedule has two speeds. Normal service takes 30 days and urgent takes 15. Urgent roughly doubles the price for a single document check, from Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,000, and adds half again for most other services.

Pick the right service: employer, embassy or overseas

An employer in Pakistan usually needs the basic per document check, Rs 1,000 each. An embassy in Pakistan has its own line at Rs 4,000. A foreign employer or university that wants a direct email reply needs email verification, Rs 4,000, or the overseas line at USD 100.

The words "per document" matter. A degree and its transcript are two documents, so a basic check of both costs Rs 2,000 normal or Rs 4,000 urgent, by our arithmetic. The email line is priced per set per programme, which can be cheaper when an employer wants the whole set confirmed at once.

How to pay and send a Karachi University verification request

From Pakistan, pay by pay order in favour of "University of Karachi" and send it to the Controller of Examinations, Examinations Department, University of Karachi. From abroad, transfer USD 100 before sending your documents.

1. Choose the right service and speed from the fee table.
2. Get a pay order from your bank for the exact amount, in favour of "University of Karachi".
3. Attach copies of the documents to be checked and your contact details.
4. Send it to the Controller of Examinations, Examinations Department, University of Karachi, Karachi.
5. Email verification@uok.edu.pk with your name, roll or seat number and the pay order number to follow up.

Overseas applicants use telegraphic fund transfer to the University of Karachi account at UBL University Campus Branch: account 1146-310-0085-3, IBAN PK28UNIL0112114631000853, SWIFT UNILPKKA, branch code 1146. Keep the bank's transfer slip, because the reply depends on matching your payment. One catch: the fee table prices the overseas line per set per programme, while the transfer note under it says USD 100 per document.
