Kasur AQI Today: Check Punjab EPA's Reading Live, Free (7 November: 411, Hazardous)
Check Kasur AQI today on Punjab EPA's free dashboard. At 3 am on 7 November 2026 it read 411, with Nankana Sahib 395 and Okara 256. Steps, bands and advice.

Short answer: Check Kasur's AQI free on Punjab EPA's official dashboard at aqi.punjab.gov.pk, which updates every hour. At 3 am on 7 November 2026 it put Kasur at 411, "Hazardous" and second worst in Punjab, with Nankana Sahib at 395, Okara at 256 and Sheikhupura at 232.
Kasur sits just south of Lahore, close enough that people who commute between the two usually check both readings. Lahore's AQI gets all the attention, and Kasur's number has been worse more than once this season. Below is how to read it, how it compares with its neighbours, and why a single reading from Kasur needs a second look. We read every figure on the dashboard ourselves before dawn on 7 November.

Kasur's AQI at 3 am on 7 November 2026 was 411
Punjab EPA's dashboard showed Kasur at 411 in its 3 am reading on 7 November, inside the Hazardous band of 401 to 500. Only Kot Addu, at 500, ranked higher in Punjab. Lahore, next door, read 345 at the same hour, a gap of 66 points.
Punjab EPA tells everyone to stay indoors in the Hazardous band. If you must go out, it says to use an N95 mask and protective glasses. That is a one-hour reading before dawn, so look at the number again before you plan the day. The dashboard showed city figures for Kasur at this hour. It did not display a station breakdown for it, so we do not give one here.
Check Kasur's AQI on the Punjab EPA dashboard in five steps
Open aqi.punjab.gov.pk in any phone browser. It is free and needs no login. The page opens on Lahore, then ranks every Punjab city by AQI. Find Kasur in that ranking, then read the update time beside the figures.
- Open aqi.punjab.gov.pk and look for the "Last updated" time.
- Scroll down to the city ranking and find Kasur.
- Read the number, then match it to a band in the table below.
- Check Lahore too, if you commute. The two can be far apart.
- Open the health advisory page for the advice on your band.
Punjab EPA also links an Android app from the same page. We did not install it for this check, so we cannot say how its numbers compare with the website. If a phone app shows something different, the AQI levels on Punjab's scale explain why the labels may differ.

Kasur's readings swing hard, so check more than once
Kasur's reading has moved a lot in a short time. It read 50 at 3 am on 5 November, 179 at 2 pm on 6 November and 411 at 3 am on 7 November. One of those figures looks wrong, and the time of day explains part of the rest.
| Reading we took | Kasur AQI | Band |
|---|---|---|
| 3 am, 7 November | 411 | Hazardous |
| 2 pm, 6 November | 179 | Unhealthy for sensitive groups |
| 3 am, 5 November | 50 | Good, doubtful |
| Earlier on 20 October | 342 | Very Unhealthy |
| Afternoon, 20 October | 168 | Unhealthy for sensitive groups |
The 50 on 5 November should not reassure anyone. Kasur had read 424 a day earlier, and the page carried a station connectivity notice at the time. A reading of "Good" in the middle of a smog week deserves a second look. The dashboard still carries that connectivity notice.
Our rule is simple. If Kasur's number jumps sharply from the last one, look again an hour later, and glance at Lahore and Nankana Sahib. If they are all high, the air is probably bad. If Kasur alone looks strange, wait for the next reading.

Kasur ranked worst among its neighbours on 7 November
At 3 am on 7 November, Kasur was the worst of the cities around Lahore. Nankana Sahib read 395 and Okara 256, while Sheikhupura, on Lahore's other side, was lowest at 232. Sheikhupura's reading was just over half of Kasur's.
| City | 2 pm, 6 November | 3 am, 7 November | Band at 3 am |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kasur | 179 | 411 | Hazardous |
| Nankana Sahib | 141 | 395 | Very Unhealthy |
| Lahore | 153 | 345 | Very Unhealthy |
| Okara | 192 | 256 | Unhealthy |
| Sheikhupura | 127 | 232 | Unhealthy |
All five rose between Friday afternoon and early Saturday. Those are different hours of the day, so the rise says as much about night against day as about the two dates. For the same hour a day apart, the dashboard gave Lahore's own comparison: 373 at 3 am on 6 November and 345 at 3 am on 7 November. The province-wide list for this hour is in Punjab's 7 November ranking.
What to do in Kasur on a bad air day
Punjab EPA's advice follows the band, so check the band first. Above 200, everyone should wear a mask outdoors and avoid heavy effort. Above 400, everyone should stay indoors. Vulnerable people should stay in at much lower readings than that.
- Keep doors and windows shut on high readings.
- Wear a well-fitted N95 or KN95 mask outdoors in the Unhealthy band or worse.
- Move any errands you can to the afternoon. On Friday, Kasur's afternoon figure was less than half of Saturday's pre-dawn one.
- Report burning and smoky kilns on the Green Punjab app. Farmers should know the crop burning fine before lighting a field.
Vulnerable people are children, older people, pregnant women and anyone with asthma, lung or heart disease. See a doctor if a child breathes fast, or anyone has chest tightness, wheezing or a cough that will not settle. If someone has chest pain or cannot breathe, go to the nearest emergency department at once.
