Minecraft: Java and Bedrock Edition for PC costs Rs 9,849 in Pakistan, the price Microsoft's store listed for the Pakistan market on 29 September 2026. The Deluxe Collection was Rs 11,299 and the Ultimate Collection Rs 14,199. The phone version sold for Rs 99 on both Google Play and the App Store in Pakistan.
Minecraft is sold by Mojang, which Microsoft owns, so the PC game is bought with a Microsoft account. One purchase gives you both editions on PC: Java, the original version with community servers and mods, and Bedrock, the version that plays with phones and consoles.
We read the three PC products on minecraft.net and checked their prices in Microsoft's store catalog for Pakistan on 29 September 2026. We also opened the Minecraft listings on Google Play and Apple's App Store for Pakistan. We did not buy a copy, so we did not go through checkout.
Minecraft PC prices in Pakistan start at Rs 9,849
The standard Java and Bedrock bundle was Rs 9,849 for Pakistan. The Deluxe Collection added three add-ons, three character items and 700 Minecoins for Rs 11,299. The Ultimate Collection added five add-ons, five items and 1,000 Minecoins for Rs 14,199.

For comparison, the same standard bundle was US$29.99 in the United States store. Minecoins are Bedrock's shop currency for skins and worlds. They do nothing in Java, so the extra editions only make sense if your child plays Bedrock.
Our honest view: buy the standard edition. The add-ons are small, and you can buy Minecoins later if the interest lasts.
Java and Bedrock come together on PC
The PC purchase includes both editions. Java runs on Windows, Mac and Linux and suits mods and community servers. Bedrock runs on Windows and lets you play with friends on phones and consoles. Microsoft notes that worlds saved in one edition do not open in the other.
Most Pakistani players pick by who their friends are. If the cousins play on phones, use Bedrock. If the school group joins a Java server, use Java. Since you get both, you can switch any time.
On Windows 10 or 11 you install from the Minecraft Launcher or the Microsoft Store. On a Mac or Linux PC, Microsoft points you to minecraft.net/download for the launcher.
Buy Minecraft on minecraft.net in five steps
Go to the Minecraft store on minecraft.net, pick the edition, sign in with a Microsoft account and pay by card. The game is then tied to that account, and you download it from the Minecraft Launcher. Use an account you control, not one a shop sets up for you.
- Open the Minecraft PC store page on minecraft.net.
- Choose Standard, Deluxe or Ultimate, and click to buy.
- Sign in with your Microsoft account, or create one with your own email.
- Add a Visa or Mastercard with online and international use switched on.
- Install the Minecraft Launcher, sign in with the same account and download the game.
We did not reach the payment screen, so we cannot confirm every method Microsoft offers a Pakistani account. Plan on a card. If your bank card is refused, a virtual dollar card is the usual second try, and a small test purchase first saves trouble.
Your bank may also deduct FBR advance tax under section 236Y on card spending abroad: 0.5% if you are on the Active Taxpayers List and 1% if not. It works the same way as it does for Steam game payments, and it is adjustable against your income tax.
The phone version is a separate purchase
Minecraft on Android and iPhone is a separate app, sold on Google Play and the App Store. Both stores listed it at Rs 99 for Pakistan on 29 September 2026. Buying the PC game does not give you the phone version, and the phone purchase does not unlock PC.
That Rs 99 price is far below what the PC bundle costs, so check the amount on the store page before you pay. Store prices can change without notice.
On Android, Google Play in Pakistan takes cards, not JazzCash or Easypaisa wallets directly, as we found when checking Google Play payment methods. On iPhone you need a card on your Apple ID. After buying, extra Minecoins and Marketplace items are in-app purchases on the same account.
Cheap accounts and cracked launchers carry real risks
Minecraft accounts sold cheaply on social media are often stolen and can be taken back by the real owner. Cracked launchers skip the purchase but cannot join official servers or Realms, and some carry malware. For a child's PC, the official Rs 9,849 copy is the safe option.
- A shared or "full access" account can be recovered by its first owner at any time.
- Free download sites for the Java Edition often bundle unwanted software.
- A Microsoft account in your own email lets you reset the password and recover purchases.
- Keep the purchase receipt email. It is your proof if anything goes wrong.
