New Pakistani Movies Releasing October to December 2026, With Dates

Only two new Pakistani films have a cinema date between October and December 2026. Sheroes opens on Friday 2 October, and Mango Jutt is reported for Friday 16 October. No Pakistani film has a confirmed November or December date yet.

That is a thin list for the last quarter of the year, and it is worth saying plainly. We checked the cinema listings, the official trailers and the production houses' own posts on 25 September 2026. Everything else you may see on social media for "Pakistani movies December 2026" is either a delay, a rumour or a 2027 title.

Release dates in Pakistan move often. Sheroes itself was first announced for 18 September and then shifted. So treat every date below as correct on the day we checked, and look at your cinema's own listing before you buy tickets.

New Pakistani movies from October to December 2026, month by month

Sheroes on 2 October is the only Pakistani film we found with a date on a cinema chain's own listing. Mango Jutt on 16 October comes from news reports only. November and December have no dated Pakistani release at all so far.

We did not find any new Pakistani film announced for a streaming (OTT) premiere in this window either. OTT means an online platform such as Netflix or a local app, as opposed to a cinema. If a film goes straight to streaming, it will usually be announced only a week or two ahead.

No Eid falls inside these three months in 2026. Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Adha were in March and May, and that is when Pakistani studios usually release their big films. That is the main reason the autumn list is so short.

Sheroes opens on 2 October with three separate stories

Sheroes is an Urdu anthology film, meaning three stand-alone short stories in one ticket. Ushna Shah, Kinza Hashmi and Zara Noor Abbas each lead one story. It is backed by the Sindh government's information department.

The three stories, as the makers and the press describe them:

• Punch. Ushna Shah plays a boxer. Gohar Rasheed and M. Ehteshamuddin also appear. Directed by Badar Mehmood and written by Mohsin Ali.
• Gear Up. Zara Noor Abbas plays a police officer. It is reported to be her first cinema release in about seven years.
• Artist. Kinza Hashmi plays a painter who starts selling forged paintings to get noticed.

The official teaser on YouTube credits Saqib Khan and Badar Mehmood as directors, Mohsin Ali, Hashim Nadeem and Amna Mufti as writers, and Imran Hussain as producer. Tamasha Films presents it and Orient Distribution Club handles the cinema release. Saqib Khan made his debut as a film director with Ghabrana Nahi Hai in 2022.

There is one thing to know about the date. The teasers uploaded on 1 and 10 September still say "in cinemas nationwide on September 18, 2026". That date passed without a release. News reports on 18 September gave 2 October, and CUE Cinemas in Lahore now lists the film for Friday 2 October 2026 under its "Artist" story name, with the same cast. We take 2 October as the current date because a cinema chain is selling against it.

Mango Jutt is a Punjabi action comedy reported for 16 October

Mango Jutt stars Faysal Quraishi as a Punjab Police officer and Hareem Farooq, who also produces it. Its official trailer came out on 16 September 2026. News reports give a release on Friday 16 October, but the makers' own trailer does not state a date.

As reported, the story follows Murad Jutt, a police officer who protects a woman and her three children from an old enemy. The family moves to a village to stay safe. Shamoon Abbasi plays the villain. The trailer's credits also list Ayesha Jehanzeb, Qaiser Piya, Honey Albela and Maira Bangash.

Abu Aleeha wrote it and, by most reports, directed it too. The film was finished around 2024 and then sat waiting for a slot. It is Hareem Farooq's first film since Heer Maan Ja in 2019, and her first in Punjabi.

Reports differ on the date. A news report on 17 September said the film is due in cinemas on 16 October 2026, with Nadeem Mandviwalla distributing. Another report a day earlier said no release date had been announced. We could not find the 16 October date on a cinema listing yet. CUE's coming soon list did not show the film when we read it. So we mark it as reported, not confirmed.

November and December 2026 have no dated Pakistani film yet

We found no Pakistani film with an announced November or December 2026 cinema date. The films people expected this year have either been pushed back without a new date or moved into 2027. Here is where each one stands.

My Daddy My Superhero is the one to watch. Aziz Jindani, who made The Donkey King, said in an interview in August that the film was about 80 per cent done and pushed "to the end of 2026". He also said a date would be announced by the end of the year. That is a plan, not a release date.

Khan Tumhara was deferred "until further notice" by Hum Films. The studio said a new date would come "at the earliest". It has not come yet.

Inspector Jamshed is shot in English and based on the Ishtiaq Ahmed detective novels. Its YouTube trailer is labelled "(2027)", so do not expect it this year.

If you want something local to watch at home in the meantime, older Pakistani films are the easier option. There are several legal ways of watching movies online in Pakistan, through paid streaming services and free apps, on a phone or an Android TV box. Parents picking something for children will find more family movies among older titles than in this autumn's releases.

How to book Pakistani movie tickets in October

Book on the cinema chain's own website or app, or at the counter. Check your city's listing first, because a film can open on different days in different cities. Showtimes usually appear only a few days before the Friday release.

1. Open the website or app of a chain near you, for example Cinepax, Nueplex, CUE Cinemas, Super Cinema or Atrium.
2. Go to "Coming Soon" and find the film. If it is not there, it is not confirmed at that cinema yet.
3. Wait for "Now Showing" or advance booking to open, usually in the week of release.
4. Pick the city, branch, show time and seats, then pay online or hold the booking.
5. Keep the booking code or e-ticket on your phone for entry.

Ticket prices are set by each cinema and change by branch, screen type and day. We have not listed prices because none of the chains publish one national rate. Weekday shows are often cheaper than Friday and weekend evenings.

November also brings smog to Lahore and much of Punjab. In past years the smog season in Punjab has led to closures and changed opening hours for markets and public places. If an order like that comes in, check whether your cinema's timings have changed.
