At about 100 Mbps, Nayatel is the cheapest of the three on paper at Rs 5,750 a month plus tax. StormFiber 115 Mbps is Rs 7,399 plus tax, and PTCL Flash Fiber 100 Mbps is Rs 9,449 with tax already inside. PTCL has the lowest set up fee, Rs 5,000. Check your street first, because coverage decides more than price.

Most people pick a home internet provider by asking a neighbour. That works until the neighbour lives on a different street and a different network. The three big fibre names in Pakistan print their prices in different ways, and a quick glance at the numbers can mislead you.

We opened StormFiber's plans page on 7 October 2026 and read its home internet price lists. The PTCL and Nayatel prices come from our reading of their own sites on 29 September 2026. PTCL's Flash Fiber site showed a maintenance notice when we tried it again on 7 October. So treat PTCL and Nayatel as "last read on 29 September".

Monthly price of PTCL Flash Fiber, Nayatel and StormFiber near 100 Mbps in Pakistan

The three providers print tax in different ways

PTCL prices already include tax. Nayatel and StormFiber print prices without tax, so your bill will be higher. This one difference can turn the cheapest plan on the page into the middle one, so compare like with like before you decide.

We have not added a tax figure to any price, because the amount depends on your bill. Ask each company for the total with tax in writing. The PTCL Flash Fiber price list and the Nayatel packages by city hold the full lists. PTCL's Flash Fiber site says internet prices are inclusive of taxes. Nayatel shows every package as "per month plus tax". StormFiber's plans page says "All prices are exclusive of taxes". It also offers a button to view prices inclusive of taxes, which we did not use.

Monthly price at similar speeds

For plans between 40 and 300 Mbps, Nayatel has the lowest printed price at every step, StormFiber sits in the middle, and PTCL is the highest. Remember that PTCL's number includes tax and the other two do not.

Speed bandPTCL Flash Fiber (tax included)Nayatel (plus tax)StormFiber (plus tax)
About 40 Mbps40 Mbps, Rs 4,99940 Mbps, Rs 2,35040 Mbps, Rs 3,649 (Rs 3,749 in Lahore and Karachi)

About 200 MbpsNot listed200 Mbps, Rs 11,450200 Mbps, Rs 12,299
About 300 Mbps300 Mbps, Rs 25,999300 Mbps, Rs 19,550275 Mbps, Rs 15,399

At 200 Mbps, Nayatel is Rs 849 a month cheaper than StormFiber. At the top end, StormFiber's 275 Mbps plan is Rs 4,151 cheaper than Nayatel's 300 Mbps, by our own sum. So the cheapest provider depends on the speed you want.

The speed labels differ too. StormFiber sells its 115 Mbps plan as 100 Mbps plus 15 Mbps extra when you pay through the Nayapay app. Without that, the base speed is 100 Mbps. The same pattern holds on every StormFiber plan. PTCL doubles the speed in the first month only, then drops back.

Set up costs differ more than monthly prices

PTCL asks Rs 5,000 for installation. Nayatel asks Rs 3,000 plus Rs 12,000 for the fibre modem, or Rs 15,000 in all. StormFiber prints a one time cost of Rs 12,000 on its internet only plans. Your first month can cost far more than the monthly price.

StormFiber's page also shows Rs 999 as the one time cost on some city lists, for the same internet only plans. We could not tell what condition applies, so ask the sales agent which figure you will pay in your area. PTCL's Shoq TV box is charged separately. Nayatel's instalment route costs Rs 4,000 upfront but more over time.

City coverage decides who you can pick

StormFiber lists 26 cities in its selector, Nayatel lists 13, and PTCL's Flash Fiber site lists over 100 towns while its main site map shows only 10. A city on a list does not mean your street has fibre.

  • StormFiber: Abbottabad, Bahawalpur, Chitral, Daska, Faisalabad, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Haripur, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Jhelum, Karachi, Lahore, Mardan, Multan, Okara, Peshawar, Quetta, Rahim Yar Khan, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Swat and Wah.
  • Nayatel: Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Multan, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Sargodha, Attock, Taxila, Wah Cantt and Muzaffargarh. There is no Karachi.
  • PTCL Flash Fiber: more than 100 cities on its Flash Fiber site, but only 10 on the Fiber to Home map of the main PTCL site, as we noted on 29 September.

In Karachi the real choice is StormFiber or PTCL, since Nayatel does not serve it. In Islamabad and Rawalpindi all three are listed. In smaller towns only PTCL may reach you, though other providers are arriving under PTA's district broadband licences.

How to choose between the three

Start with coverage, then speed, then the total of the first month. Call each company that serves your street and ask for one number, the cost in month one with tax. Choose on that number, not the monthly price alone.

  1. Check your exact street. Use the coverage tool on each provider's own site. Do not rely on a neighbour's word.
  2. Pick the speed you need. A home of four with phones, a TV and one laptop does well on 40 to 50 Mbps.
  3. Ask for the month one total with tax. Add the set up cost, the monthly price and the tax together.
  4. Ask about the data limit. Heavy 4K streaming or game downloads can reach a cap.
  5. Get the price in writing before work starts. Promo prices end, and some promo speeds drop after a few months.
Five steps to choose between PTCL Flash Fiber, Nayatel and StormFiber for home internet in Pakistan
PTCL has the lowest printed set up cost of the three fibre providers in Pakistan

If the connection is slow or faulty

Complain to the provider first and keep the complaint number. PTCL's complaint line is 1218. If the fault is not fixed, you can take it further with PTA, which asks for that first complaint number.

The steps are in how to file a PTA complaint about slow internet. For PTCL the process starts with the PTCL complaint on 1218. StormFiber customers who only need to pay a bill can use StormFiber bill payment online.

Common questions

Which is cheapest, PTCL, Nayatel or StormFiber?

Nayatel has the lowest printed monthly price from 40 to 300 Mbps, but its prices exclude tax. PTCL's prices include tax. Compare the total with tax before you choose.

Does Nayatel work in Karachi?

No. Karachi was not among the 13 cities Nayatel listed when we last read its site on 29 September 2026.

How much does StormFiber installation cost?

The plans page prints a one time cost of Rs 12,000 on internet only plans. Some city lists show Rs 999 for the same plans, so confirm the figure for your area.

Are PTCL, Nayatel and StormFiber really unlimited?

No. PTCL allows 2,000 GB a month below 100 Mbps and 3,000 GB from 100 Mbps. Nayatel caps plans between 2.5 TB and 11 TB. StormFiber says a fair usage policy applies.

Which provider suits a small home best?

A 40 to 50 Mbps plan from whichever one reaches your street. Coverage and a written total price matter more than the brand.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

StormFiber's city price lists, the tax note, the Nayapay speed note and the city selector were read on the plans page of stormfiber.com on 7 October 2026. PTCL Flash Fiber prices, the Rs 5,000 installation charge, the tax note and the data limits were read on PTCL's Flash Fiber site and fair usage page on 29 September 2026, and that site showed a maintenance message on 7 October. Nayatel prices, caps, cities, the Rs 3,000 installation charge and modem prices were read on nayatel.com on 29 September 2026. We did not order or test a connection from any of the three. Prices and offers change without notice, so confirm the total with sales before you pay.
