Design & In Hand Feel

Realme P3 Pro 5G

Realme has nailed the design this time. The P3 Pro looks and feels flagship level in the hands. You get a quad curved AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 7i on the front and soft leather touch finish on the back. It comes in 3 colours, Nebula Glow, Galaxy Purple, and Saturn Brown. All look modern and clean.

The best part? It is IP68/IP69 rated, so it is properly water and dust resistant. Something you rarely see in phones under 80K. Side frame is plastic but feels solid. Overall, the phone feels premium and sits light in the hand despite the big battery.

Display & Sound

The display is biggest highlight of Realme P3 Pro 5g. It is a 6.78 inch curved AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness is 1500 nits, & outdoor visibility is solid even in Karachi harsh sun.

Slim bezels, curves are symmetrical, and touch response is top notch. Watching YouTube or gaming feels immersive.

It also has stereo speakers very loud, and there is some depth too. Not flagship tier to us, but better than most in this range.

Performance

Realme P3 Pro 5g have Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, paired with 8GB or 12GB RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. On box, it sounds solid and in real, it holds up. Multitasking is fluid, Realme UI 5.0 is smooth, and animations are clean.

Gaming performance is decent, PUBG runs at 90fps, and there is a “GT Mode” that boosts performance, but consume more battery.

Thermals are well controlled, and there is no major lag or stutter, even during long sessions. You also get Wi-Fi 6 and 5G, which is great for futureproofing as Pakistan is soon getting 5G country wide.

Camera

The rear camera setup is simple, a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS and a 2MP depth sensor. No ultrawide, no macro.

Image quality is normal. Daylight photos come out sharp with good colours. Portraits are clean, though edge detection can be hit or miss. Low light is image quality decent as well, nothing groundbreaking we found but the OIS helps reduce blur.

The 16MP selfie camera is reliable. Skin tones stays natural and dynamic range is fine. Video recording maxes out at 4K 30fps, with EIS. Good enough for casual use.

If you are buying this phone mainly for the camera, it is capable, but not class leading.

Battery & Charging

This is where Realme went beast mode. The Realme P3 Pro 5g have 6000mAh battery which gives 2-day use for average users. We tested with with 120Hz on and gaming, it easily lasted more than day.

And the 80W fast charger included in the box get you from 0 to 100% in under 50 minutes. You can quickly charge for 15 min and get through the day. No wireless charging, but at this price, fair trade-off.

Software

The phone runs Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14, and it is smoother than previous versions. Comes with some pre installed apps and minor ads in notifications, but they can be removed. Realme promises 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security patches.

Final Verdict on Realme P3 Pro 5g

Realme P3 Pro feels like a phone made with real user feedback in mind. It fixes all previous basics model critics, display, battery, charging, and performance and throws in extras like IP rating and a curved AMOLED at under PKR 80,000.

Camera could have been better with an ultrawide addition. And Realme UI still needs polishing in some areas. But overall, for PKR 78,000 (expected), it is one of the strongest all-rounders we have tested this year.
