Snapchat Streak Restore in Pakistan: 1 Free Restore, Paid Restores and Every Fix When the Button Is Missing
Restore a lost Snapchat Streak from the Restore button in Chat. Your first restore is free, Snapchat+ adds one a month. Fixes for a missing button and refunds.

To restore a lost Snapchat Streak, open Chat, look for the Restore button (a fire emoji button) next to that friend or group, tap it and follow the steps. Every Snapchatter gets one free Streak Restore; after that you pay the price shown in the app. If there is no button, the Streak ended too long ago, and only a support request can help.
A 300 day Streak with a cousin in Dubai can die because one of you was on a bus without data. That is the usual story. Below are every route back: the free restore, paid restores, the Snapchat+ monthly restore, the iPhone Restore All option, the support form, and what to do when a paid restore fails. We read Snapchat's own Streak help articles on 31 October 2026.
A Streak ends when a day passes without a Snap from everyone
A Streak ends when more than a day passes without a new photo or video Snap from everyone in the Chat. Chat messages do not count. An hourglass emoji next to the Chat means the Streak is about to expire, so send a Snap at once.
Snapchat's help page on how Streaks work says a Streak starts when you and a friend Snap back and forth at least once a day, every day. A fire emoji appears in Chat, and the number next to it is the Streak's age in days.
Group Chats have their own rule. Most members of the group must send a photo or video Snap every day. A text message in the group keeps the conversation alive but does not keep the Streak alive.
Some readers cannot see the number at all. Snapchat says the day count may be hidden in some regions and app versions, but the Streak still runs as long as you keep swapping daily Snaps.

Every way to restore a Snapchat Streak, compared
There are four routes. The free restore and paid restores work from the Restore button in Chat. Snapchat+ adds one free restore a month. The support form is the last resort when the in-app restore fails. Pick the first one that applies to you.
| Route | Cost | Where | Limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free Streak Restore | Free | Restore button in Chat | One per Snapchatter |
| Paid Streak Restore | Price shown on your phone | Restore button in Chat | Only recently expired Streaks |
| Snapchat+ monthly restore | Included in Snapchat+ | My Account, Snapchat+ card, Streak Restore | One a month, does not carry over |
| Restore All | Shown before you confirm | Restore button, iPhone only | Several expired Streaks at once |
| Support form | Free to send | help.snapchat.com | Reviewed by Snapchat, recent Streaks only |
Snapchat does not publish a rupee price. Its Streak Restore cost article says the price varies between countries and that the price shown on your device is the price you will be charged. So check the amount on the confirm screen before you tap, especially on a card with a small balance.
Restore a lost Streak in 5 steps
Open Chat, find the friend or group, and tap the Restore button next to the name. Follow the payment or confirmation screen. If your one free restore is still unused, the app uses it first. If the button is missing, the Streak cannot be restored in the app.
- Open Snapchat and swipe right from the Camera to reach Chat.
- Find the one-on-one or group Chat that lost the Streak.
- Look for the Restore button with the fire emoji next to the Chat.
- Tap Restore and read the price or free restore message.
- Confirm, then send a fresh photo or video Snap so the Streak keeps running.

On an iPhone, Snapchat also offers Restore All when several Streaks have expired together. Tap Restore next to one of them, choose Restore All, then tap Restore. Android users restore one Chat at a time.
Snapchat+ gives one free Streak Restore every month
Snapchat+ subscribers get one free in-app Streak Restore each month. The month resets on the day your subscription started. An unused restore expires at the end of that month and does not carry over. Extra restores in the same month are paid.
To use it, open My Account, tap your Snapchat+ membership card, tap Streak Restore and pick a recently expired Streak. Snapchat says the subscription price also varies by country and device, and the Settings screen shows the current amount. We did not subscribe, so we cannot confirm the rupee price.
Snapchat+ also has Instant Streaks, one-day Streaks that can appear after a swap of Snaps, and a Streak Reminder you switch on per friend. Press and hold the friend in Chat, open Chat and Notification Settings, and turn on Streak Reminder. Reminders only work for active Streaks, and only if Snapchat notifications are allowed on the phone.

No Restore button means the Streak ended too long ago
If the Restore button does not appear, Snapchat says the Streak most likely ended too long ago to bring back. Restores work only for a limited time after a Streak expires. Snapchat does not publish the exact window, so act within a day or two.
If you tapped Restore and it did not work, send the Streak support form. Snapchat's restore trouble article links to it and says the team will review the request. Only recently expired Streaks qualify, so a Streak from last month will not come back this way.
If the payment itself failed, the problem sits with Google Play or the App Store, not Snapchat. Check that your card works, then retry. If you pay through your mobile balance, a balance lower than the price will stop the purchase, so top up first.
Refunds for an accidental restore go through Google Play or the App Store
Snapchat does not process refunds for a Streak Restore bought by mistake. On Android, request it through Google Play. On iPhone, request it through Apple. Snapchat's refund article says this in plain words and links to both stores' refund pages.
Ask quickly. Store refund rules change and a late request is harder to win. Keep the purchase receipt email that Google or Apple sends, because it carries the order number they will ask for.
One warning. People on Instagram and WhatsApp sell "Streak recovery" for a fee. Nobody outside Snapchat can restore a Streak, and anyone who asks for your password or login code wants your account. If that has already happened, the steps to recover a hacked Snapchat account come first, and a lockout after suspicious logins is handled the way described under Snapchat account locked.
A cheap daily data bundle also protects a long Streak. The Jazz social packages that include Snapchat cover the daily Snap for very little.

Your first Streak Restore is free. After that, each restore costs the price shown in the app, unless you have Snapchat+, which adds one free restore a month.

Snapchat does not publish a rupee price. It says the price varies by country and the amount shown on your phone is what you pay.
How long do I have to restore a Snapchat Streak?
Snapchat says only for a limited time after the Streak ends and does not give an exact number of hours. If the Restore button has gone, the window has closed.

Why did my Streak end when we were chatting every day?

Can Snapchat Support bring back an old Streak?
Only a recently expired one. Snapchat reviews requests sent through its Streak support form, and older Streaks are not restored.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 31 October 2026. We read Snapchat Support's articles on how Streaks work, restoring a lost Streak, trouble restoring a Streak, restoring multiple Streaks, the cost of a restore, refunds for an accidental restore, Snapchat+ free restores, Streak reminders, Instant Streaks and hidden Streak counts, all at help.snapchat.com, on 31 October 2026. Snapchat publishes no rupee price and no exact restore window, so we give neither. We did not buy a restore or subscribe to Snapchat+.
