SNGPL Bill Check Online by Consumer Number: 11 Digits, Free Duplicate Bill and Every Error Fixed

To check your SNGPL bill online, open sngpl.com.pk, go to Customer Services and then Get Your Gas Bill, type your 11 digit consumer number, fill in the captcha and press Submit. The bill opens in a new window, free, and that printout is your duplicate gas bill. If you are typing 14 digits, that is why it fails.

Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) supplies gas in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad. We opened its bill form on 24 October 2026 and read the rules in the page code. The field takes exactly 11 digits, no more and no less. Below are the steps, every error message the form can show and its fix, and the ways SNGPL lists to pay once you have the amount.

The SNGPL consumer number has 11 digits, not 14

The SNGPL bill form accepts exactly 11 digits. The box stops at 11 characters, and the page shows "Invalid Consumer Number!" for anything shorter or containing letters. The 14 digit number people search for belongs to electricity bills, not gas bills.

The confusion is easy to see. Electricity reference numbers from LESCO, IESCO, MEPCO and the other power companies are 14 digits long, and many households keep both bills in the same drawer. Type the electricity number into the gas form and it simply cuts off at 11.

Copy the consumer number from an old gas bill exactly as printed, with any leading zero. The SSGC length comes from our earlier check of both Sui gas bill portals, which also explains the captcha on each.

Checking the bill takes five steps on SNGPL's website

You need an old bill for the consumer number and a browser that allows pop-up windows. The form has only two boxes, the consumer number and the captcha, so the whole check takes under a minute when the site is responding.

1. Open sngpl.com.pk. Type the address yourself.
2. From the menu, choose Customer Services, then Get Your Gas Bill. The form is titled Consumer Bill.
3. Type the 11 digit consumer number from an old bill.
4. Type the letters and numbers shown in the captcha image. If it is hard to read, press the refresh button beside it.
5. Press Submit. The bill opens in a new window. Print it or save it as a PDF.

If nothing seems to happen after Submit, your browser has probably blocked the new window. The page code opens the bill with a pop-up. Allow pop-ups for sngpl.com.pk, or try a phone browser, and press Submit again.

No old bill anywhere? Ring 1199, SNGPL's helpline, or visit your nearest SNGPL office with your CNIC and address. You can also get your SNGPL gas bill by email or SMS every month, so you never need to hunt for the number again.

Each error message on the form has a simple fix

The SNGPL form can return five messages. Three come from a typing problem, one means no bill is available yet, and one asks you to log in. Read the exact words, because each points to a different fix and only one needs a call to SNGPL.

We saw the login message in the page code, but the login box itself is switched off on the page we read. If you get that message, the email bill or an office visit is the practical way round it for now.

SNGPL lists eight ways to pay the bill

Once you have the amount, SNGPL's own payment page lists internet banking, mobile banking, the SNGPL mobile app, Easypaisa, JazzCash and other wallets, ATMs, NADRA kiosks, any scheduled bank and post offices. The duplicate bill printout works at a bank counter.

Pay before the due date printed on the bill. If your bill shows an amount you think is wrong, such as an estimated or minimum charge, read why an SNGPL bill can be estimated or minimum before you pay, then lodge a complaint.

Fake bill sites ask for more than your consumer number

SNGPL's form asks only for the consumer number and a captcha. A site that asks for your CNIC, your phone number or a fee just to show a gas bill is not SNGPL. Use sngpl.com.pk, typed by hand, or a bank or wallet app you already trust.

Your consumer number is not a secret, but it is linked to your address. Do not post a photo of your bill on social media with the number showing. And remember that the duplicate is free. Nobody needs to charge you to print it.
