SNGPL has not posted home gas timings for winter 2026-27 on its website as of 7 November 2026. Its Curtailment Schedule page still shows a day by day rotation for general industry, and older sector notices dated 2021. So any "new winter timings" in a forwarded message are not confirmed by SNGPL's own page.

Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) supplies Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Kashmir. We opened its Curtailment Schedule, Shut Down Notice and Low Pressure Notice pages on 7 November 2026. Here is what each one says and what it does not. For how last winter looked at home, see the gas load shedding schedule.

SNGPL's site shows no home gas timings for this winter

We found no 2026-27 domestic timetable on SNGPL's Curtailment Schedule, Shut Down or Low Pressure pages. A winter load management plan for November 2026 to February 2027 has been reported as under preparation, but SNGPL has not published one.

"Reported" here means press reports, not a government notice we could read. Last December, SNGPL's winter timings were reported as three daily windows around mealtimes for Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Reports differed on the exact hours, so we will not repeat them as fact. If a message gives you clock times for this winter, ask for the notice behind it.

General industry has one gas off day a week by region

SNGPL's Curtailment Schedule page lists a seven day rotation for non-export general industry. Each region loses supply on one set day a week. The page gives no date for this list, and the other notices near it are from 2021.

DayRegions listed
MondayLahore (East) and Lahore (West)
TuesdaySheikhupura and Sahiwal
WednesdayFaisalabad and Sargodha
ThursdayMultan and Bahawalpur
FridayGujrat, Sialkot and Gujranwala
SaturdayRawalpindi, Islamabad and Abbottabad
SundayPeshawar and Mardan

The page footer says "Last Update 06/11/2026", but that stamp appears across the site, so it does not prove the list is current. Factory owners should confirm it with their SNGPL regional office before planning a shift around it. Office details are in SNGPL office timings.

The same page lists older CNG and captive power notices

The page also carries three sector notices dated December 2021. It says CNG supply was suspended till further orders, captive power was suspended under a Cabinet winter plan, and textile captive units were restored on a quota. We did not find later notices cancelling them.

SectorNotice on SNGPL's pageDate in the notice
CNG stationsGas and RLNG supply suspended till further orders6 December 2021
Captive power unitsSupply suspended till further orders15 December 2021
Textile captive powerRestored on a quota basis, contact regional office29 December 2021
General industry, non-exportOne day a week, rotating by regionNo date given

Rules for these sectors have changed many times since 2021. Treat these rows as what the page says today, not as proof of current supply. A CNG or factory owner should ask SNGPL in writing. Sector rates are a separate matter, covered in the 2026 commercial gas rates.

Check these three SNGPL pages before you trust a message

Three SNGPL pages carry official notices: Curtailment Schedule, Shut Down Notice and Low Pressure Notice. When we checked, the shutdown page had one image notice and the low pressure page named one street in Multan.

  1. Open sngpl.com.pk and go to the Curtailment Schedule page for sector and winter notices.
  2. Open the Shut Down Notice page for planned pipeline work in your city.
  3. Open the Low Pressure Notice page for named streets and areas.
  4. Call 1199, SNGPL's helpline, and ask about your own area.
  5. Ignore any list with no date, no company name and no notice behind it.
Steps to check SNGPL's official pages for winter gas timings

More on reading those notices is in SNGPL's low pressure and shutdown notices, and complaint numbers are in SNGPL's complaint numbers.

What each SNGPL page shows, and where home timings would appear

SSGC customers need a different page

Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) serves Sindh and Balochistan, and it runs its own notices. The news section we opened showed gas holidays and suspensions dated 2024, with no 2026-27 timetable, so check it directly and do not rely on SNGPL's list.

Whichever company serves you, stay safe if low pressure leads you to change how you heat your home. Never leave a heater on overnight in a closed room, and read gas heater and geyser safety rules before the cold weather starts. Gas losses at both companies are set out in OGRA's loss figures.

Common questions

Has SNGPL announced winter gas timings for 2026-27?

We did not find any on SNGPL's site on 7 November 2026. Press reports say a plan is being prepared.

What is SNGPL's Curtailment Schedule?

It is the page SNGPL's menu calls Load Management Schedule. It lists sector notices and a weekly rotation for general industry.

Which day is gas off for industry in Lahore?

The page lists Monday for Lahore (East) and Lahore (West). It gives no date, so confirm with SNGPL's regional office.

Do these days apply to homes?

No. The rotation names non-export general industry only. Homes are not part of that list.

What number do I call for gas problems?

1199 is the helpline for SNGPL and SSGC. For a leak, leave the building first, then call.

What we checked

We opened SNGPL's Curtailment Schedule page, its Shut Down Notice page and its Low Pressure Notice page on 7 November 2026. We could not read the content of the one image notice from the page text. No winter plan was on any of the three pages.
