Türkiye Scholarships for Pakistanis: 2027 Window Due 10 January
Türkiye Scholarships 2027 for Pakistani students should open 10 January. Free tuition, housing and a monthly stipend. Age limits, interview and how to apply.
Türkiye Scholarships (Türkiye Burslari) for 2027 have not been announced yet. Türkiye Scholarships says its main application window runs every year from 10 January to 20 February, and the 2026 round used exactly those dates. So Pakistani students should expect the next window from 10 January 2027, online and free at turkiyeburslari.gov.tr.

Türkiye Scholarships is run by the Turkish government. It pays tuition, a monthly stipend, housing and health insurance, and it also places you at a university. That last part is unusual. You do not need an admission letter first.
Türkiye Scholarships 2027 should open on 10 January
The general application window is 10 January to 20 February every year, according to the official calendar. The 2026 round ran on those dates. The 2027 round has not been announced, so treat 10 January 2027 as the expected date, not a confirmed one.

Some smaller schemes run on other dates. The calendar lists the Success Scholarship from October to November, for students already studying in Türkiye, and four yearly rounds for the Research Scholarship. Those are separate from the main degree scholarship described here.
Levels you can apply for, and the age and grade limits
You can apply for an associate degree, a bachelor's, a master's or a PhD. Each level has an age limit and a minimum grade. Bachelor's applicants must be under 21 with at least 70%, and master's applicants under 30 with at least 75%.

Citizens of every country can apply, and you can apply in your final year if you graduate before August. You cannot apply if you are already enrolled at a Turkish university at the level you want.
One point surprises many applicants. The full-time scholarship page says Türkiye Scholarships does not award graduate scholarships in health sciences. So an MS in public health or nursing is out, even though medicine is open at bachelor's level.
For bachelor's applicants with O and A Levels, keep an IBCC equivalence certificate ready, because your marks must be shown in a form the panel can compare. Master's and PhD applicants face the same question with their degree, and HEC degree attestation is the proof Turkish universities usually ask for later.
What Türkiye Scholarships covers
The scholarship pays tuition, a monthly stipend, housing, health insurance, a one year Turkish course and a flight at the start and end of your studies. The site lists the stipend at 6,500 Turkish lira a month for bachelor's, 9,500 for master's and 13,000 for PhD.

These lira amounts are what the site shows today. With prices in Türkiye moving fast, check them again when the 2027 call opens. Students with top results can get the Merit Scholarship, which the site says pays twice the normal stipend.
The Turkish course is compulsory. Even if your degree is taught in English, you must study Turkish for a year and reach C1 level unless you already hold a C1 certificate.
How the Türkiye Scholarships interview and test work
Shortlisted candidates face a 15 to 30 minute interview with a panel of academics and experts. Bachelor's candidates also sit a 30 question test in maths, geometry and logic, with 60 minutes to finish, on the same day as the interview.
The selection page says the panel looks at your academic record, career goals, the fit between your choices, your letter of intent and your social activities. The interview follows a set order:
- Welcome and a check of your documents.
- Why you applied.
- Your academic knowledge and career goals.
- Your questions for the panel.
Bring every original certificate from your latest education to the interview. The site says this is required. The test questions come in Turkish and English, and a sample paper is on the selection page. Practise it, because the geometry section catches students who dropped maths after matric.
How to apply for Türkiye Scholarships from Pakistan
Apply online through the Türkiye Scholarships Application System (TBBS) between 10 January and 20 February. Upload your documents, pick up to 12 university and programme choices, write your letter of intent, and submit before the deadline. Applying is free.
- Create an account on the application system linked from turkiyeburslari.gov.tr.
- Use the programme search to shortlist courses in your field and language.
- Upload your passport or CNIC, a photo from the last year, your diploma and transcript.
- Add test results if your chosen programmes ask for them, such as IELTS, TOEFL, SAT or GRE.
- For a PhD, add a research proposal and a sample of your written research.
- Choose up to 12 options, write your letter of intent, and submit.
Your 12 choices matter more than most applicants think. The panel checks whether they are consistent, so picking computer science, then history, then dentistry looks unfocused.
No agent can speed this up. Applications are free and go only through the official system. If someone asks for a fee to "process" your Türkiye Scholarship, run the same checks you would on any study abroad agent.
