The store shows one memory variant and two colours. vivo does not print a launch date on either page, so we do not give one. Here is what the phone is, how it compares with the larger X300 and the V70, and what to check before you pay.

The X300 FE is the compact X300 with the same chip and a bigger battery

FE in vivo's naming means a smaller, slightly cheaper member of the flagship family. The X300 FE keeps the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 with vivo's all-big-core CPU design and quotes an AnTuTu score of 3,161,598 on its page. The screen drops to 6.31 inches, and the battery goes up to 6,500 mAh typical, 6,350 mAh rated.

vivo's page lists the telephoto in detail and says less about the main and ultrawide cameras, so we do not quote figures for them. The optional ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2, which gives a 200 mm equivalent, is described as promotional and not sold with the phone.

At Rs 279,999 it sits Rs 80,000 above the 256 GB V70 on vivo's store

On the same vivo store, the V70 with 12 GB plus 256 GB is Rs 199,999 and the V70 with 512 GB is Rs 229,999. The X300 FE at Rs 279,999 is Rs 80,000 above the 256 GB V70 and Rs 50,000 above the 512 GB one. The store did not list the full-size X300 on 19 October 2026, so we do not compare prices with it here.

So the question is whether the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, the periscope telephoto, wireless charging and seven years of security updates are worth Rs 80,000 over the V70. For a photographer or anyone who keeps a phone for four or five years, our view is yes. For a buyer who replaces a phone every two years, the V70 does the daily job for less.

The 6,500 mAh battery and 90 W charging are the practical headline

A 6,500 mAh cell in a 7.99 mm phone is the number that changes daily use. vivo adds bypass charging, which powers the phone from the charger while gaming instead of cycling the battery, overheating protection and a battery life extender setting. Wireless charging at 40 W is rare at any price in Pakistan.

Two cautions from vivo's own page. Actual charging speed varies with temperature and the charger used, and the IP68 and IP69 ratings are lab results that can decline with daily wear. Keep the charger that comes in the box, if one does, and check the retail box contents before you pay, because flagship boxes increasingly ship without one.

Buy it PTA approved, and know the 5G position before you pay

A phone on vivo's own Pakistan store is sold PTA approved, so there is no registration tax to add. A grey import of the same model from Dubai or China is not, and the PTA tax on a phone above $500 is large. Send the IMEI to 8484 before you hand over money to any seller other than vivo or an authorised shop.

1. Check the box seal and that the IMEI on the box matches the phone's IMEI in Settings.
2. Send the IMEI to 8484 and wait for the reply that says the device is compliant.
3. Confirm the variant is 12 GB plus 256 GB and the colour is Glow White or Urban Olive, the two vivo lists.
4. Ask for the official invoice with the IMEI on it, which the warranty needs.
5. Insert your SIM and test 5G, if your area has it, before leaving the shop.
