Zindigi Credit Card: Rs 5,000 Fee, 49.99% Markup and How to Repay
Zindigi's Visa credit card costs Rs 5,000 a year and 49.99% markup on unpaid bills. See every fee, the 51-day free period, minimum payment and how to repay.

The Zindigi Visa Credit Card costs Rs 5,000 a year, cut to Rs 1,200 if you spend Rs 25,000 in your first month. Any balance you do not clear by the due date is charged 49.99% a year, about 4.16% a month. There is no joining fee. Pay the full bill every month and you pay no markup for up to 51 days.
Zindigi is the digital banking app of JS Bank. Its credit card was reported in March 2026 as Pakistan's first fintech credit card, with the whole application done inside the app. Zindigi's own website lists the card in its menu and publishes the card's terms, its schedule of charges and a key fact statement, a short summary of the card's costs.
We read all three on 27 September 2026. What Zindigi does not publish is who qualifies or what credit limit you will get. So this guide tells you what the card costs and how to repay it, and it is clear about what we could not confirm.
Zindigi credit card fees and markup in 2026
The card has no joining fee and an annual fee of Rs 5,000. Unpaid balances cost 49.99% a year. Cash withdrawals cost 48% a year plus a fee of 3.5% or Rs 1,800, whichever is higher. A late payment costs at least Rs 2,400.
| Charge | Zindigi Visa Credit Card |
|---|---|
| Joining fee | Nil |
| Annual fee | Rs 5,000, or Rs 1,200 if you spend Rs 25,000 within 1 month of activation |
| Supplementary card, annual | Rs 2,000, or Rs 1,000 on the same spending condition |
| Markup on shopping (retail APR) | 49.99% a year, 4.16% a month |
| Cash advance APR | 48% a year, 4% a month |
| Cash advance fee | 3.5% or Rs 1,800, whichever is higher |
| Balance transfer or Cash on Call | Up to 36% a year, plus Rs 1,000 per transfer |
| Late payment fee | Rs 2,400 or 10% of the minimum amount, whichever is higher |
| Over limit fee | Rs 1,500 |
| International ATM or POS | Rs 450 or 5% of the amount, whichever is higher |
| Chip maintenance, annual | Rs 1,150 |
| SMS alerts | Rs 100 a month, only with your consent |

APR means annual percentage rate, the yearly cost of borrowing. At 49.99%, Zindigi sits at the top of the range we found when we compared credit card fees at eight Pakistani banks. The lowest in that check was 25%.
Watch two smaller costs. The Rs 1,150 chip maintenance fee is charged every year on top of the annual fee. And a paper statement costs Rs 300 a month, which is waived only if you choose the e-statement.
These figures are from the schedule of charges for 1 July to 30 September 2026. Zindigi updates it every quarter, so check the new one from 1 October.
The 51-day interest-free period only works if you pay in full
Zindigi gives up to 51 days without markup, but only if you pay the full outstanding balance before the due date. Pay less than the full amount and markup is charged from the day of each purchase, not from the due date.
This is the rule that catches most new card users. The key fact statement says retail markup is "charged from transaction date if full payment is not made." Cash advances and balance transfers carry markup from the day you take them, with no free period at all.

So if you spend Rs 50,000 and pay only Rs 45,000, markup runs from each purchase date, not from the due date. At 4.16% a month, that adds up fast.
Minimum payment and how to repay the Zindigi card
The minimum payment is 5% of your balance, including fees, markup, instalments, any over-limit amount and past dues, or Rs 500, whichever is higher. You can repay in the Zindigi app, by auto debit, at a JS Bank branch, or through internet banking.
- Open the e-statement Zindigi emails you each month and note the payment due date.
- Open the Zindigi app and pay the bill manually, or set up auto debit for the full or minimum amount.
- Keep enough money in the linked account. A failed auto payment costs Rs 2,000.
- If you pay by cheque, drop it 3 business days early for the same city, or 7 days for another city.
- If no statement arrives within 7 days of the usual date, call 111 556 677. A missing statement does not stop the due date.

The terms also warn that a due date falling on a moon-sighting holiday is not moved. Pay before it. If you need money in your Zindigi account first, you can send money from your bank to Zindigi by IBFT or Raast.
What Zindigi does not publish: eligibility and credit limit
Zindigi's website does not list the income, age or account needed to get the card, or the credit limit you can expect. The card page shows only a banner. The terms say the bank decides limits and can raise or cut them without notice.
The launch was reported as "credit in minutes" with no branch visit. We could not confirm that on Zindigi's own pages, and we did not apply ourselves. So we are not printing an eligibility list. Sites that give one are guessing.
A few things the terms do confirm:
- Cash limit: you can withdraw 50% to 75% of your available credit limit as cash.
- Supplementary cards: up to six, for anyone aged 13 or above, sharing up to 100% of your limit.
- Secured cards: the terms allow a card to be issued against a cash deposit or a lien on your account, with the deposit at least equal to the limit.
- Your credit report: the bank shares card data for credit reporting, so a missed payment can show up on your eCIB credit report.
Read these terms before you apply for the Zindigi credit card
The Zindigi card terms include clauses most people never read. They let the bank contact your family, friends or employer after 30 days of missed contact, and they pledge your household goods as security. Know this before you apply.

- Disputes: report a wrong charge in writing within 7 days of your statement. After that, the charge is treated as genuine. Complaints inside Pakistan are resolved within 45 days.
- Recovery contact: if you miss a payment and cannot be reached for 30 days, the bank may contact supplementary cardholders, family, neighbours or your employer.
- Hypothecation: the terms pledge your household goods, appliances, vehicles and other valuables to the bank as security for the card debt.
- Changes: the bank can change rates and fees with 30 days' notice, for example through your e-statement.
If a complaint to Zindigi goes nowhere, you can take it further. The Banking Mohtasib handles unresolved bank complaints for free.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked on 27 September 2026. The annual fee, reduced fee, APRs, instalment rates, cash advance fee, late fee, 51-day interest-free period, minimum payment, cash withdrawal limit and Credit Protector cost are read in the key fact statement and schedule of charges on Zindigi's credit card terms page. The same charges appear in Zindigi's schedule of charges for 1 July to 30 September 2026, which does not show the reduced annual fee. Repayment channels, the 7-day dispute window, 45-day resolution, 30-day recovery contact rule, hypothecation and supplementary card rules are read in the card terms. The card page on zindigi.pk shows only a banner. The March 2026 launch and the in-app application were reported in the press and are not described on Zindigi's own pages. We did not apply for the card.
