Zong IDD Make Your Own Bundle lets a prepaid or postpaid customer build an international calling bundle in the My Zong app. You pick a country, a validity and a number of minutes. Zong lists rates from 1 to 19 a minute, depending on the country, and the price includes FED and AIT.

Most international bundles are fixed packs. You buy 600 minutes for the USA whether you need them or not. This Zong offer works the other way round: you choose the country and the minutes, and Zong sends a price calculation. We opened Zong's IDD Make Your Own Bundle page on 15 October 2026, and the facts below come from it. The page calls it IDD MYOB.

You build the bundle in the My Zong app, and nowhere else

Zong says IDD MYOB is available to prepaid and postpaid customers only through the My Zong app. There is no dial code on the page. The path in the app is More, then International Roaming and IDD, then IDD MYOB, then Subscribe.

  1. Download the My Zong app and log in.
  2. Tap More.
  3. Choose International Roaming and IDD.
  4. Select IDD MYOB.
  5. Pick the country, validity and minutes, read the price, then subscribe.

Zong says the bundle is activated within 15 minutes of your command, and you get a text with the price calculation. We did not log in to the app or buy a bundle. The screens may differ from this path.

Steps to build an IDD bundle in the My Zong app

Prepaid customers choose from five minute sizes and three validities

Prepaid customers can pick daily, weekly or monthly validity and 10, 25, 50, 100 or 500 minutes. Postpaid customers get monthly validity only, on the bill run, with 25, 50, 100 or 500 minutes.

The size menu is small, so you cannot ask for 75 minutes. If you speak for 80 minutes a month, the 100 minute pack is the closest fit. Remember that the minutes do not carry forward, and they work only for the country you choose.

Zong lists a rate for 18 countries, from 1 for the USA to 19 for Oman

The page has a Rate/Minute column for each country. The cheapest is the USA and Canada at 1. China and Italy are 2. India, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia are 3. The dearest listed are UAE at 15 and Oman at 19.

The page does not label the currency of the rate. We read it as rupees, but Zong does not say so. Treat the number as a guide and read the price calculation Zong sends.

Saudi Arabia is for the Mobily network only, and UAE is for the DU network only. Calls to the other Saudi and UAE networks are charged at the normal rate.

The rules that catch customers out

Zong says you cannot unsubscribe from a bundle. It ends when the validity ends or the minutes are used, whichever comes first. Conference calls are not allowed. Minutes cannot be moved to another country.

  • You can subscribe up to 5 times, then you must wait 40 minutes before you subscribe again.
  • Prices include FED and AIT, and the app shows them in the price calculation.
  • You can check what is left in the Usage tab of the app or by dialling *102#.
  • You can build the bundle again once the minutes are used up, and the new one overrides the old.

The UK offer covers landlines and selected mobile networks only, such as H3G, Lycamobile, O2, Orange, Sky, T-Mobile, Tier 2 and Vodafone. Other UK mobile networks are charged at the normal rate. Check the number you call before you buy.

Rules for Zong IDD Make Your Own Bundle including no cancellation and a 40 minute wait

Read the price calculation as soon as it arrives

Zong says the activation text carries a price calculation that includes FED and AIT. Read it and compare it with the rate on the page. If the price looks wrong, ask Zong at once.

A wrong deduction can be reported to Zong first and then to PTA. The PTA telecom complaint guide explains the steps. To see how much airtime is left, you can check remaining Zong MBs and minutes. If you travel to the country you call, activate international roaming separately, because an IDD bundle does not cover roaming.

Calling over the internet can be cheaper still. Wi-Fi calling and app calls need no bundle, though they depend on a stable connection at both ends.
