CapCut Pro costs PKR 2,900 a month or PKR 19,900 a year in Pakistan, according to CapCut's own pricing page, which we read on 2 November 2026. The Ultra plan costs PKR 21,900 a month or PKR 249,900 a year, and the Free plan costs nothing. Below is every plan in rupees, what each one adds, how the 7 day trial works and how to stop paying before you are charged.

A video editor is now a work tool for many people here: shop owners making Reels, freelancers editing for clients, students making YouTube Shorts. CapCut shows prices in PKR on its site, which makes the choice easier. But it also says the displayed price is "for reference only", and that you must sign in to see the final price, tax and any offer. So treat every figure below as the starting point, not the receipt.

CapCut has four plans in Pakistan: Free, Pro, Ultra and Teams

CapCut's pricing page lists Free at PKR 0, Pro at PKR 2,900 a month, Ultra at PKR 21,900 a month and Teams from PKR 1,450 per seat a month. Every paid plan has a yearly option, and the yearly price is lower per month.

UltraPKR 21,900PKR 249,9008,6451 TB
Teams, 2 seatsPKR 1,450 per seatPKR 8,950 per seat1,200 per seat1 TB

The Teams card changes its per seat price with the number of seats you pick, and the figures it showed us for 5, 7, 10, 15 and 30 seats did not fall in a neat line. If you are buying for an office, sign in and read the price for your exact seat count before you pay.

The yearly Pro plan works out to about Rs 1,658 a month

Paying PKR 19,900 once a year for Pro equals about Rs 1,658 a month. Twelve monthly payments of PKR 2,900 add up to PKR 34,800, so the yearly plan saves you PKR 14,900, which is about 43 per cent.

Ultra is a different story. PKR 249,900 a year is about Rs 20,825 a month, against PKR 262,800 for twelve monthly payments. That saves PKR 12,900, only about 5 per cent. These are our own sums from CapCut's listed prices, before any tax or card charges.

Our honest view: for most people who edit a few videos a week, Pro on the yearly plan is the sensible buy. Ultra is priced for heavy AI video generation, and very few individual creators in Pakistan will use 8,645 credits a month.

Pro adds premium templates, 1,200 AI credits and 1 TB of storage

CapCut lists all premium templates, all Pro features, 1,200 monthly AI credits, the option to buy more credits and 1 TB of cloud storage with Pro. Ultra adds more credits, longer AI video generation and features CapCut calls exclusive.

The Free plan gives free templates and basic editing tools. For trimming clips, adding text and putting music under a video, Free is often enough. People usually upgrade when a template they want is marked Pro, or when they need the AI tools.

CapCut also lists AI video generation limits by plan. Pro allows up to 240 seconds at 720p, or 600 seconds at 480p, with a model it calls Seedance 2.0 Mini. Ultra allows up to 1,700 seconds at 720p. Some per second generation charges on the page are shown in US dollars, not rupees, so check those at checkout.

The 7 day Pro trial needs no card, but cancel before it ends

CapCut's FAQ says new users can start a 7 day free trial of Pro with no credit card, and can cancel before it ends. It also says trial availability changes by region, platform, billing channel and promotion, so you may not see it.

  1. Sign in to CapCut on the app or at capcut.com.
  2. Open the Pro offer and check whether the 7 day trial is shown for your account.
  3. Read the final price, including tax, on the checkout screen.
  4. Write down the trial end date in your phone calendar.
  5. Cancel at least a day before that date if you do not want to pay.

If you started the trial inside the Android app, the subscription usually sits in Google Play, so you cancel it there. The steps to cancel a Google Play subscription work for CapCut too. Google's own Google Play cancellation help adds one warning worth repeating: uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription. On an iPhone, the same applies through your Apple account, and you can cancel an Apple subscription from Settings.

Where you buy changes how you pay and the price you see

You can buy CapCut on its website, in the Android app through Google Play, or in the iPhone app through Apple. The price on each route can differ, because CapCut says final pricing appears only after sign in, with taxes and offers.

Inside the Android app, payment goes through Google Play's own options. If your card keeps failing, the fixes for a card declined on Google Play or Apple usually solve it. We could not confirm which payment methods CapCut's website accepts in Pakistan, because the pricing page does not list them.

One more safety point. Cheap "CapCut Pro" accounts and modded APK files are sold in Facebook groups and on WhatsApp. They ask for your login or install an app from outside the Play Store. Skip them. A shared account can be taken back at any time, and a modded APK can carry malware.

Free alternatives exist if Pro is too much

If PKR 2,900 a month is more than your editing is worth, stay on CapCut Free or try a different free editor. Instagram's Edits app is free, and Canva has a free tier with video tools.

The free Edits app from Instagram is built for Reels. For designers who mix graphics and short videos, the Canva Pro price in Pakistan is worth comparing before you commit to a year of CapCut.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read the CapCut pricing page on 2 November 2026, with the monthly and yearly views, the plan cards and the FAQ. The PKR prices, AI credits, storage and trial terms above come from that page. We also read Google's help page on cancelling a Google Play subscription the same day. The yearly savings and per month figures are our arithmetic. We could not verify the final tax inclusive price, the payment methods CapCut's website accepts in Pakistan, or whether Google Play and Apple charge the same amounts, because those appear only after sign in.
