Clothing Brand Exchange Policy in Pakistan: Sapphire 30 Days, J. 3 Days, and 7 More Brands (Full List)
Exchange policy of 9 clothing brands in Pakistan: Sapphire 30 days, Khaadi and Alkaram 7, J. 3. Which brands refuse sale items, give no cash, who pays courier.

Clothing brands in Pakistan give you between 3 and 30 days to exchange an item, and most of them do not exchange sale items at all. On 4 November 2026 we read the exchange pages of nine brands. Sapphire gives the longest window, 30 days. J. (Junaid Jamshed) gives the shortest, 3 days from delivery. Khaadi, Alkaram, Breakout and Bata give 7 days, and Stylo gives 10 days in store. None of them pays cash back as a normal rule.
That matters this month. The Daraz 11.11 sale and the White Friday sales bring big discounts, and a discount often comes with a "no exchange" condition. Read the table below before you buy a size you are not sure about.

Exchange days for 9 Pakistani brands compared
The short answer: most brands give 7 days, Sapphire gives 30, J. gives 3, and almost every brand refuses sale items. The table lists what each brand's own policy page said when we read it on 4 November 2026.
| Brand | Exchange window | Sale items | Cash refund |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sapphire | 30 days (from delivery online, from purchase in store) | Not exchanged or returned | No, credit voucher instead |
| Stylo | 10 days from purchase in store | Not stated on the policy page | No, coupon instead |
| Khaadi | 7 days from delivery, at any store | Cannot be exchanged | No, except when out of stock |
| Alkaram | 7 days from delivery | Cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded | No, voucher valid one month |
| Breakout | 7 days from purchase, with proof | Size exchange only, if stock allows | No, all sales final |
| Bata | 7 days | Not exchangeable | Regular price items only |
| Outfitters | 14 days, faulty or wrong items only | Not mentioned separately | Only for wrong or damaged items |
| J. (Junaid Jamshed) | 3 days from delivery | Only if the item does not match the order | No, online store credit |
| Limelight | Exchange terms on its policies page | Not stated | "NO refund" policy |
Policies change, so open the brand's own page on the day you shop. A brand can also run a sale with special terms printed on the sale page itself.
Sale items are the biggest trap
Buy a sale item only in a size you already know fits. Sapphire, Khaadi, Alkaram and Bata all say sale items cannot be exchanged. Alkaram says this applies "neither online nor in-stores".
There are two small exceptions worth knowing. Breakout allows a size exchange on markdown items if stock is available. J. allows an exchange on a sale item only if the product you received does not match what you ordered. Alkaram also says a full price item that is later marked down will be exchanged at the lower price, so the credit you get can be less than you paid.

Every brand asks for the same four things
To get any exchange, keep the item unused, keep the tags on, keep the packing and keep the receipt or order email. Every policy we read asks for some version of these.
- Do not wash or wear it outside. Try it on at home over thin clothes. Breakout says garments must be "unwashed, unworn, unused, and undamaged".
- Keep every tag and sticker. J. even asks for the "protective stickers" to stay on.
- Keep the original bag or box. Bata and Sapphire both name the original packaging.
- Keep proof of purchase. In store that is the printed receipt. Online it is the order confirmation email and order number.
- Act fast. Count the days from the date in the policy, which may be the purchase date or the delivery date.

Online orders follow different rules from shop purchases
An online order often has a shorter window or a separate route, so check where you can take it back before you pay. Some brands let you return an online order at a shop and some do not.
- Sapphire lets you exchange an online order in a store within 30 days of delivery, and says online returns can be sent free through Leopards Courier drop-off points.
- Breakout says online purchases cannot be exchanged or returned at its shops, and you pay the courier cost to send them back.
- Stylo lets you take an online order to any store with a digital copy of the order, but its Online Exclusive collection has no exchanges.
- Alkaram asks you to email care@alkaramstudio.com with the order number. Size exchanges apply only to orders delivered inside Pakistan.
- Bata handles online exchanges by email at customercare.pk@bata.com, and you pay the shipping.
- Outfitters handles exchanges at its physical stores, not at factory outlets, and asks you to tell it within 3 days of delivery if something is wrong.
If you paid cash on delivery and the courier is slow, you can track a Leopards COD parcel to prove the delivery date. That date starts the clock at most brands.
Items most brands will not take back
Undergarments, fragrances, cosmetics and accessories are excluded at most brands, even at full price. Plan these purchases carefully.
Breakout lists fragrances, undergarments, jewellery and accessories as not exchangeable. J. excludes inner-wear, wooden boxes, its Groom Collection, accessories, fragrances and cosmetics. Sapphire excludes fragrances. Alkaram excludes cosmetics. Outfitters takes undergarments back only in their original packaging, and treats a multi-item pack as one item that cannot be opened and partly returned. Our bra types and sizing guide explains how to measure before you buy, because lingerie is the item you are least likely to be able to swap.
What to do when a brand refuses a fair exchange
Start with the brand's own customer service in writing, then use the consumer route in your province. Keep every message.
Send an email with your order number, photos of the fault and the date of delivery. Outfitters and Breakout both ask for photos of a defect. If the brand sent a wrong or damaged item and still refuses, you have a stronger case than a simple change of mind. Our guide to online return and refund rights in Pakistan explains the basics. In Punjab you can file a consumer complaint online, and in Sindh the consumer court route starts with a written notice to the seller. A marketplace order follows the marketplace's rules, so read the Daraz return rules if you bought a brand item there.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read each brand's own exchange or refund policy page on 4 November 2026: Sapphire (pk.sapphireonline.pk), Khaadi (khaadi.com), J. (junaidjamshed.com), Alkaram (alkaramstudio.com), Breakout (breakout.com.pk), Bata (bata.com.pk), Outfitters (outfitters.com.pk), Stylo (stylo.pk) and Limelight (limelight.pk). We did not test an exchange in a shop. Brands can change these terms at any time, and sale pages can carry their own conditions, so check the page on the day you buy.
