FPSC Jobs by Domicile: Punjab 132, Sindh 51, KP 27, Balochistan 17, GB 15 and AJK 5 Seats, Every Post Listed
FPSC Advertisement 4/2026 sorted by domicile: every post for Punjab, Sindh, KP, Balochistan, GB, AJK and Ex-FATA, plus women and minority seats. Check first.

FPSC Advertisement 4/2026 has 278 seats: Punjab 132, Sindh 51 (Rural 31, Urban 20), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 27, Merit 25, Balochistan 17, Gilgit-Baltistan 15, Ex-FATA 6 and AJK 5. Women's quota has 22 seats and minorities have 8. Apply by 23 November 2026.
A post can look perfect on the title and still be closed to you. Assistant Draftsman at the Law Ministry has one seat, and it is for Sindh Urban only. A candidate from Lahore who pays the fee is throwing away Rs 1,500. So we went through all 48 cases of Consolidated Advertisement No. 4/2026 and sorted the seats by domicile.
The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) prints no such list. The counts here are ours, taken from the scanned advertisement on 7 November 2026. Your own domicile certificate decides your line, and FPSC's self domicile rules explain why it must be in your name.
Punjab has 132 of the 278 FPSC seats
Punjab has the largest share, with 132 seats, and Sindh is next at 51. The Merit share of 25 sits outside the provinces. Women's and minority seats are counted inside each province's own total, so add them to your total only if you qualify.
| Domicile | Open merit | Women | Minorities | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Punjab | 115 | 12 | 5 | 132 |
| Sindh (Rural) | 29 | 1 | 1 | 31 |
| Khyber Pakhtunkhwa | 23 | 3 | 1 | 27 |
| Merit | 25 | 0 | 0 | 25 |
| Sindh (Urban) | 18 | 2 | 0 | 20 |
| Balochistan | 14 | 2 | 1 | 17 |
| Gilgit-Baltistan | 13 | 2 | 0 | 15 |
| Ex-FATA | 6 | 0 | 0 | 6 |
| AJK | 5 | 0 | 0 | 5 |
| Total | 248 | 22 | 8 | 278 |

Take away the 160 Assistant Audit Officer seats and the picture gets thinner. Only 52 Punjab seats are left, and 13 in Sindh Rural. So the audit post matters for almost everyone, which is why it has its own page on the 160 FPSC Assistant Audit Officer posts.
Merit seats are open to candidates from any domicile
A Merit seat is not tied to one province. Thirteen cases in this advertisement have at least one, and six of them are all-Merit posts. These are often the best chance for a candidate whose own province has no share in that case.
