How to increase WhatsApp data on Jazz, Zong and Telenor in Pakistan

To get more WhatsApp data, buy a WhatsApp or social bundle from your network. On Jazz, Monthly YouTube and Social gives 10 GB for YouTube, Facebook and WhatsApp for Rs 608 on *620#. On Zong, Monthly WhatsApp Plus gives 7 GB for WhatsApp and IMO for Rs 400 on *4000#. These are the prices the two networks listed on 22 September 2026. We could not read Telenor's website, so we give no Telenor prices.

We read the bundle pages on jazz.com.pk and zong.com.pk on 22 September 2026. Telenor's website refused our requests every time, so the Telenor section below only points you to its own channels. We did not dial any code.

Jazz prices include tax. Zong calls its prices "consumer price". Jazz also lists a Monthly Bachat Offer, Rs 478 for 6 GB of WhatsApp, IMO and Tamasha, but only for selected customers in some areas.

Some websites still list a Jazz "Monthly Social Bundle" of 10 GB for Rs 347 on *661#. It does not appear anywhere on jazz.com.pk, so treat it as unconfirmed.

How to add a WhatsApp bundle on Jazz

  1. Recharge enough balance for the bundle. Jazz's minimum recharge is Rs 100.
  2. For the monthly bundle, dial *620#. For the small weekly bundle, dial *101*1*07#.
  3. Or send "Hi" to Jazz WhatsApp at 0300-3008000, choose Bundle Activation, then Data Bundles.
  4. Check it worked. For the weekly bundle, the status code is *101*2*07#, which Jazz says costs Rs 0.06 and shows remaining MBs and validity.

Jazz says multiple subscriptions of the Weekly WhatsApp Bundle are allowed. So if you run out in the week, you can buy it again. Once the MBs are used, Jazz charges Rs 2.25 per MB until the bundle expires.

How to add a WhatsApp bundle on Zong

  1. Recharge enough balance.
  2. For Monthly WhatsApp Plus, dial *4000#, or send SUB WPO to 6464.
  3. For the Monthly Social Bundle, dial *6000# or *6464#, or send SUB MSB to 6464.
  4. For the basic Monthly WhatsApp bundle, the page gives *3998#, and also says to dial *247# and reply 1, or dial *4#.
  5. Check your usage with *102#. Zong says it costs 10 paisa plus tax per check. The My Zong app shows it free.

Zong's pages for WhatsApp Plus and the Social Bundle say they are for prepaid customers only, not postpaid or internet device SIMs. Zong also says you are charged again if you subscribe twice. Out of bundle data costs Rs 1 plus tax per MB until the validity ends.

Where Zong's own pages disagree

Price and renewal conflicts on Zong WhatsApp bundle pages

We found three conflicts on Zong's pages on 22 September 2026. We report them rather than pick one:

  • Monthly WhatsApp price. The page header says Rs 250. The text under it says Rs 220. A link to the same bundle elsewhere says Rs 250 plus tax.
  • Monthly Social Bundle price. The header says Rs 700. The text says Rs 650.
  • Monthly WhatsApp Plus renewal. The terms say the offer is "auto-recursive", which means it renews by itself. The FAQ on the same page says it is not automatically renewed.

So check the price Zong shows you before you confirm. If you do not want a bundle to renew, unsubscribe before it ends: SMS Unsub WPO to 6464 for WhatsApp Plus, or UNSUB MSB to 6464 for the Social Bundle.

Telenor WhatsApp bundles

We could not read telenor.com.pk. It returned an access denied error to every request we made on 22 September 2026, as it has on earlier checks. So we cannot confirm any Telenor WhatsApp bundle, price or code. Some websites give Telenor "1.5 GB for Rs 5" on *247#, but Zong's own site uses *247# for its WhatsApp bundle, so treat that claim as unconfirmed.

To see Telenor's current WhatsApp bundles, open the My Telenor app, or use Telenor's WhatsApp service. Ufone users can activate a Ufone package on WhatsApp too.

Make your WhatsApp data last longer

A bigger bundle is not the only way. WhatsApp has its own data saving settings:

  • Turn off automatic media download on mobile data, under Settings, then Storage and data. Photos and videos then download only when you tap them.
  • Turn on "Use less data for calls" in the same menu.
  • Video calls use far more data than voice calls. Switch to voice when the video is not needed.

Also turn on your network's balance save service, so your balance is not used once the bundle ends. PTA lists the codes: *275# on Jazz, *4004# on Zong and *342# on Telenor.

A safety warning

Buy bundles only by your network's own code, app or website. Messages that promise "free WhatsApp data" if you forward a link or share an SMS code are fraud. No real bundle needs your CNIC, your mobile wallet PIN or an SMS code read out to a caller.

If the bundle does not work

Complain to your network first. Jazz asks customers to use the SIMOSA app, under Support, then Submit a complaint, or to call 111 from a Jazz prepaid number. Zong's helpline is 310 from a Zong number and 051-111-222-111 from other networks. If the network does not fix it, complain to PTA.

Common questions

What is the Jazz WhatsApp monthly package code?

*620# for Monthly YouTube and Social, 10 GB for Rs 608. Jazz lists no WhatsApp only monthly bundle on its site.

What is the Zong WhatsApp monthly package code?

*4000# for Monthly WhatsApp Plus at Rs 400, or *3998# for the 4 GB Monthly WhatsApp bundle.

Can I buy the same WhatsApp bundle twice?

Jazz allows multiple Weekly WhatsApp Bundles. Zong charges again if you subscribe twice.

Do WhatsApp bundles cover video calls?

Zong says all WhatsApp features are included, including video and voice calls. Video calls use your data quickly.

Does unused WhatsApp data roll over?

No. Jazz says resources expire at midnight on the last validity day, and Zong's pages do not mention any carry forward.

What is the Telenor WhatsApp bundle code?

We could not verify it, because Telenor's website refused our requests. Check the My Telenor app for the current list.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked 22 September 2026. Jazz prices, codes and rules are from each bundle page under jazz.com.pk/prepaid and from jazz.com.pk/faqs. Zong prices, codes and rules are from zong.com.pk/internet/monthly-whatsapp, zong.com.pk/internet/monthly-whatsapp-plus and zong.com.pk/prepaid/monthly-social-bundle, read the same day. The balance save codes are from PTA's advisory of 19 March 2026, and the Zong helplines from zong.com.pk/contact-us. Telenor's website returned access denied, so no Telenor figure is given. We did not dial any code.
