Join PAF Online Registration 2026: Open Courses, Criteria and Steps

Join PAF online registration runs only on joinpaf.gov.pk. The one intake advertised there today is class VIII admission to PAF College Lower Topa, open from 8 September to 4 October 2026 with a Rs 3,500 fee at any HBL branch. Airmen and civilian courses show zero openings.

The site also counts three active officer courses. It shows their names and closing dates only after you sign in, so we could not read them.

What is open on joinpaf.gov.pk now

Only one advertisement is live on the PAF induction site: PAF College Lower Topa, class VIII, session 2027. The course counter on the home page shows 3 officer courses, 0 airmen courses and 0 civilian courses. Officer course details sit behind the login.

There is a clue about the officer side. The ISSB's own tentative schedule lists "PAF Courses / 138 CSC/PAF (F)/Offr of PC" from 8 October to 11 November 2026. That is the board stage, which comes after registration and the first tests. So a candidate starting from zero today is most likely too late for that round.

Airmen hopefuls have nothing to register for right now. Check the counter again rather than trusting a forwarded advert.

PAF College Lower Topa admission 2027

Lower Topa takes boys into class VIII and prepares them to join the PAF as General Duty (Pilot) officers. The advert asks for an age of 11½ to 13½ on 1 January 2027 and a pass in class VII by April 2027.

• Age: 11½ to 13½ years on 1 January 2027.
• Class: passed class VII by admission in April 2027. Cambridge system students can apply.
• Citizenship: male citizen of Pakistan or Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
• Eyesight: candidates who wear glasses for defective vision should not apply.
• Fee: Rs 3,500 registration fee and other charges, deposited in any HBL branch by 4 October 2026. The challan says the fee is non-refundable.
• Cost of study: the advert says tuition, messing, boarding, uniform, books, stationery and medical care are free.

The college page on the site adds that a class 9 student can apply but must repeat class 8 if selected. The documents it lists are a school certificate showing class and date of birth, an attested copy of the NADRA B-Form or smart card, the paid challan (candidate's copy) and four recent photographs. Balochi and Ex-FATA candidates also need an attested domicile or local certificate.

The test is on a computer at a PAF Information and Selection Centre. It starts with an intelligence test, then an academic test in Maths, General Science, English and Urdu. Pass both and you face a preliminary medical and an initial interview, then a final board interview, a final medical and a merit list.

PAF officer criteria for Permanent Commission

For a Permanent Commission, the PAF's branch pages ask for an unmarried candidate aged 16 to 22, at least 5 feet 4 inches tall, with FSc or A Level at 65% marks in aggregate. Each course advert fixes the exact date the age is counted on.

For the pilot and ground branches, the site accepts FSc Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical or Computer Science, A Level with Physics, Maths and Computer Science or Biology, or FSc with Physics and any two of Maths, Statistics, Computer Science and Biology. Aeronautical Engineering is narrower: FSc Pre-Engineering, matching A Levels, or a DAE in fields such as Avionics, Electrical or Mechanical. A Level students also need an IBCC equivalence certificate.

Short Service Commission branches have wider age limits. The site lists 18 to 30 for SSC Air Defence, Admin, IT, Meteorology and Logistics, 21 to 30 for JAG and Education, and 21 to 23 for the SSC pilot entry.

How to register on joinpaf.gov.pk

You make an account first, then apply to a course from inside it. The site checks your subject marks against the course minimum and stops you if any subject is below it. After applying you pay the fee and print your registration slip.

1. Open joinpaf.gov.pk and press Signup. Enter your name, email and a password of at least 12 characters.
2. Log in and complete your profile, including your CNIC or B-Form number, district and tehsil.
3. Open Courses Offered, pick Officers, Airmen or Civilian, and press Show Criterias on a course. Note its Last Date Of Apply.
4. Apply: choose your selection centre and test date, and enter your percentage in each required subject.
5. Pay the fee by the challan shown for your course, then print the registration slip and bring both on test day.

Keep your domicile certificate and mark sheets ready before you start. The profile asks for your district, and the course form wants exact subject percentages.

PAF test, interview and ISSB stages

Officer selection for a Permanent Commission starts with an intelligence test and a branch academic test at a PAF Information and Selection Centre. Then come interviews, a medical and a physical test, and the shortlist goes to the ISSB.

SSC and SPSSC candidates follow a similar path. They also face Air Headquarters board interviews in Karachi, Lahore or Rawalpindi and a final board in Islamabad. The PAF does not list physical test standards on its public pages, so we do not give any here.

PAF Information and Selection Centres

The PAF runs 15 Information and Selection Centres, listed on joinpaf.gov.pk with addresses and phone numbers. You pick one when you apply, and your tests and first interviews happen there. Call your centre before trusting any advert you see elsewhere.

The other eight are Abbottabad (0992-385157), DI Khan (0966-9280311), Hyderabad (022-9200936), Sukkur (071-9310409), Mianwali (0459-350037), Muzaffarabad (05822-923272), Gilgit (05811-930088) and Kharian (053-7534370). The Lower Topa advert prints different numbers for Lahore (042-99220084) and Kharian (0323-0411668), so try both if one does not answer.

Fake PAF job adverts and fee requests

Every PAF intake is advertised on joinpaf.gov.pk and in newspapers, according to the site's own selection pages. The Lower Topa fee goes to an HBL government account through a printed challan. Nobody needs your money by mobile wallet.

• The only induction site is joinpaf.gov.pk. Look for .gov.pk at the end.
• Fees are paid by challan at a bank, never to a person's account.
• Airmen show zero open courses today, so any "PAF airmen jobs" advert this week needs checking.
• Your nearest selection centre can confirm any advert by phone.
