KPPSC posts its own past papers for free at kppsc.gov.pk/past_papers, and its syllabus files at kppsc.gov.pk/syllabus. On 5 November 2026 the past papers page had papers from 2007 to 2026 for PMS, Civil Judge, ASI, DSP, Tehsildar and other posts. The syllabus page had 10 syllabus files, from SST teachers to the PMS exam.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) is the only source whose papers you can be sure are real. Paid "KPPSC past paper" books and apps often mix in other provinces' papers. We opened both KPPSC pages on 5 November and listed every file. Here is what is there, and which ones matter for the tests coming up this winter.

Download KPPSC past papers in 4 steps

KPPSC groups its past papers by year, newest at the bottom. Each one is a PDF. You do not need an account to download them.

  1. Open kppsc.gov.pk and scroll to "Candidate Support Links".
  2. Click "Competitive Examination's Past Papers". This opens kppsc.gov.pk/past_papers.
  3. Find the year and the post. PMS papers have their own list at the end.
  4. Click the title to open the PDF and save it.

Some older files are scans, so they can be large. Download them on Wi-Fi if you can. Save them in one folder by post and year, so you can time yourself on a full paper later without searching again.

Match the papers to KPPSC's tests this winter

Three KPPSC tests are close. Each has past papers on the site, so start with those.

  • PMS written exam: rescheduled to run from 30 December 2026 to 16 January 2027. Use the PMS papers from 2008 to 2022 and the PMS and AETO 2025 set. See our page on the new PMS exam dates.
  • DSP and SI fast track promotion: written exams in January 2027. The 2022 and 2025 fast track papers are on the site. See the fast track exam schedule.
  • Computer based tests, 17 to 28 November 2026: these are 45 MCQ ability tests for posts such as Research Officer and Junior Architect. There are no past papers for them. Use the syllabus in the advertisement. Our page on the KPPSC computer based tests lists the posts.

Keep PMS screening rules in mind when you practise

KPPSC raised the passing threshold for the PMS and AETO screening test from 40 to 50 per cent. It says so in its July 2025 amendment to the KP PSC Functions Rules, which is linked on the same page. So when you time yourself on old PMS papers, aim well above half marks.

Practise under exam rules too. KPPSC bans candidates for cheating and for carrying a mobile phone. Our page on KPPSC cheating bans explains the penalties.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We opened kppsc.gov.pk/past_papers and kppsc.gov.pk/syllabus on 5 November 2026 and listed every file title. We did not open every PDF, so we cannot say how complete each year's set is. The 50 per cent rule is from the KPPSC Functions Rules amendment of July 2025 linked on the KPPSC site. For your marks after a test, see our guide to the KPPSC result, DMC and interview letter.
