The M.Prints line is the cheapest way into a complete Maria B suit. Unstitched pieces cost Rs 11,290 to Rs 12,290 and stitched suits start at Rs 17,990. Soiree and Mbroidered unstitched fabric is for formal wear and costs at least Rs 22,990.

Rs 11,290. A lilac printed cambric shirt with dyed cambric trousers and a printed chiffon dupatta. Cambric is light for winter, so plan a layer on top. Maria B marks this one dry clean only, which adds a running cost.

Stitched M.Prints MPS-3102-B

Rs 17,990. A purple printed cambric suit with an embroidered neckline and pearl drops on the sleeves and border. It's a good family dinner suit, and you pay about Rs 6,700 more than the unstitched line for skipping the tailor.

Unstitched Soiree SR-01-06

Rs 22,990. A green raw silk bodice, hand embellished, with a printed silk lehenga. This is the lowest price we found for a formal Maria B outfit in new season stock, if you can arrange the stitching.

Unstitched Mbroidered BD-3102

Rs 41,990. Coffee and grey printed chiffon with an embroidered organza neck patch, 3D flowers and hand work. It needs a tailor who has worked with chiffon before. This is not a job for your neighbourhood tailor's first try.

Maria B ready to wear formals with prices

Ready to wear formals start at Rs 16,990 for luxury pret, and at Rs 23,990 for luxury formals. Velvet formals in the new season start at Rs 25,990. Stitched Mbroidered suits cost Rs 58,990 to Rs 62,990 and suit a close family wedding.

Luxury Pret DW-W26-91 in yellow

Rs 26,990. A printed raw silk A-line shirt with spray embroidery and gotta lace. Yellow raw silk makes this an easy mehndi outfit for a guest, and you can wear it again at Eid.

Luxury Formals SF-W26-38 in maroon velvet

Rs 40,990. A front open velvet jacket with a hand embellished collar, sold as a 3 piece suit. Of the velvet pieces we saw from the brand, it's one of the easier ones to re-wear, because the jacket also works over a plain suit.

Luxury Formals SF-W26-81 in black

Rs 47,990. A cotton satin suit with a 3D embroidered front open jacket and crochet ball drops. Black is hard to get wrong at a winter evening function, and this one has enough detail not to look plain.

Stitched Mbroidered BDS-3102

Rs 58,990. The ready to wear version of the BD-3102 design above. It costs Rs 17,000 more than the unstitched piece. Check the size chart closely, because altering heavy hand work costs extra and can show.

Maria B couture and wedding wear prices

Maria B couture costs Rs 150,000 to Rs 295,000 in the current listings, and wedding wear runs from Rs 220,000 to Rs 1,450,000. Older wedding listings still on the site start at Rs 179,000. Ask the store about delivery time before you pay an advance.

Rs 150,000. A two-tone velvet shirt with a crushed raw silk sharara. This is the starting price of the couture line, and it would work for a walima as easily as a sister's wedding.

Wedding Wear: Elira

Rs 220,000. A lilac front open gown with naqshi, dabka and gotta work. This was the lowest price among the new season wedding pieces. Lilac suits a nikah or walima more than a traditional barat, since bridal dress colours usually run deep for that day.

Wedding Wear: Malikzadi

Rs 1,450,000. Blush and silver with kamdani mukaish, phulkari and kaantha work. It is the highest price we found on the site. Almost nobody should buy this from a phone screen. See it in person and get the delivery terms in writing.
