MCB Islamic Bank's schedule of charges for July to December 2026 keeps transfers to other banks free up to Rs 25,000 a month, then charges 0.1% or Rs 200, whichever is lower. Counter IBFT is free. Cash from another bank's ATM costs Rs 35, a Visa Classic debit card costs Rs 3,500 a year, and SMS alerts cost Rs 3,350 a year plus tax.

We read MCB Islamic Bank's own Schedule of Bank Charges covering July to December 2026 on 8 November 2026. It is the PDF listed first on the bank's schedule of charges page. Federal excise duty is added to many lines. MCB Islamic is a separate bank from MCB Bank, with its own fees and its own SUBUK app. Below is every fee an ordinary account holder is likely to meet.

MCB Islamic IBFT is free up to Rs 25,000 a month

MCB Islamic charges nothing for interbank fund transfers on its digital channels until your total for the month passes Rs 25,000 per account. After that, each transfer costs 0.1% of the amount or Rs 200, whichever is lower. IBFT over the counter through 1Link is listed as free.

So a Rs 60,000 transfer in SUBUK after the free limit is used costs Rs 60, and a Rs 250,000 transfer costs Rs 200. The schedule does not list a Raast charge, so check the fee shown in the app before you confirm a large Raast payment.

MCB Islamic charges Rs 35 for cash at another bank's ATM

Cash from an MCB Islamic ATM is free. A withdrawal from another 1Link member bank's ATM costs Rs 35. Abroad, a rupee card withdrawal costs 3.5% plus Rs 600, and a balance check costs Rs 300. On a foreign currency Visa card, cash abroad costs 3% plus USD 2.

  • Cash withdrawal at an MCB Islamic ATM: free.
  • Cash withdrawal at another 1Link bank's ATM: Rs 35, lower on some accounts.
  • Cash withdrawal abroad on a rupee card: 3.5% plus Rs 600, including FED.
  • Balance enquiry abroad on a rupee card: Rs 300.

A Rs 50,000 cash withdrawal abroad costs Rs 2,350 in bank fees, which is 3.5% plus Rs 600. That is a strong reason to carry a foreign currency card on a trip. Our guide to ATM withdrawals abroad compares other banks.

MCB Islamic lockers cost Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000 a year

A small MCB Islamic locker, up to 0.40 cubic feet, costs Rs 5,000 a year. A medium one costs Rs 7,500 and a large one Rs 10,000. The fee is taken a year in advance, and a refundable key deposit of Rs 5,000 applies to every size.

Late payment does not earn the bank anything. It is collected as a charity amount of Rs 250 a month for small, Rs 400 for medium and Rs 600 for large lockers, after one month's grace, and moved to the bank's charity fund. Breaking a locker is charged at actual cost.

To check what your own account pays, follow these steps:

  1. Open SUBUK and note your account type and average balance.
  2. Find your account or package in the schedule's general banking section, which lists its free services.
  3. Compare those with the general fees in the tables above.
  4. Ask the branch about any fee you were charged that the schedule does not show.
  5. If the reply does not settle it, complain in writing and keep the reference number.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read MCB Islamic Bank's Schedule of Bank Charges covering July to December 2026 on 8 November 2026, linked from its schedule of charges page. The Rs 60 and Rs 2,350 examples are our arithmetic. The schedule's general section does not state an account closing fee for customers, so we do not give one; ask your branch.
