Motorway Police Jobs 2026: 94 NHMP Posts for Balochistan, Constable Criteria, Physical Test and Last Date 12 November

Motorway Police (NHMP) has advertised 94 jobs for Balochistan domicile holders, including 80 constable or junior patrol officer posts, and the last date is 12 November 2026. You apply online on the National Jobs Portal (njp.gov.pk). Constables need FA or FSc second division, a car and motorcycle licence, and must be 18 to 25 with no upper age relaxation. Women have 24 of the 80 constable seats.

The National Highways and Motorway Police posted six listings on 28 October 2026 as part of the federal "Balochistan Employment Initiative". We read all six on 31 October 2026, including the physical test that decides most constable candidates: ten push-ups in a minute and a mile in nine minutes for men.

NHMP has 94 posts for Balochistan open until 12 November

The six NHMP listings add up to 94 regular posts, all reserved for Balochistan domicile holders and all closing on 12 November 2026. Men and women can apply for every post. Constable or junior patrol officer, in BPS-07, is 80 of the 94.

NHMP is one of 55 federal bodies in this drive. Together the Balochistan federal jobs on NJP come to 4,599 posts.

Constable posts need FA, two licences and a height of 5 feet 6 inches

The constable listing asks for FA or FSc second division, a valid car and motorcycle driving licence with real driving skill, and basic computer knowledge. Men must be at least 5 feet 6 inches tall with a chest of 33 inches expanding to 35. Women must be at least 5 feet 3 inches.

• Education: FA or FSc second division, or equivalent, from a recognised board.
• Height: men 5 ft 6 in, women 5 ft 3 in.
• Chest, men only: 33 inches expanding to 35, relaxable by 1 inch.
• Licences: both car and motorcycle, valid, and you must be able to drive.
• Age: 18 to 25 years, with "No relaxation in upper age limit".

The licence line catches many applicants. A learner permit is not a licence, and holding only a car licence is not enough. If you do not yet have both, the Balochistan driving licence process in Quetta takes time, so start now. Check the status of the one you have with the licence verification by CNIC.

The physical test: push-ups, a timed mile and crunches

Men take four tests: 10 push-ups in one minute, a one mile run in 9 minutes, 10 bicycle crunches in one minute, and height and weight against a BMI chart. Women run one mile in 14 minutes and are checked on height and weight. The listing gives no test date yet.

A nine minute mile is not hard for a fit young man, but it is hard on a cold morning if you have never timed one. Run it on a measured track a few times before the test, at the same hour of day the test is likely to be held.

Age limits differ between the constable and office posts

The constable listing caps age at 25 and says no upper age relaxation applies. The five office posts say 18 to 25 in their text, but the portal card shows a maximum of 30 for each. That gap probably reflects the five year Balochistan relaxation, but NHMP's text does not say so.

Other departments in this drive, such as ASF and Pakistan Railways, state that Balochistan domicile holders get five years of relaxation instead of three, for this recruitment only. NHMP's listings are silent on it. If you are between 25 and 30 and want an office post, apply, keep a screenshot, and ask NHMP at the email on the listing, ddhrm.civil.hq@nhmp.gov.pk, rather than guessing.

Apply on njp.gov.pk with an account made from your CNIC, email and a password. Fill your CV, including your FA marks and both licences where the CV asks, then open the NHMP listing under Balochistan Jobs and press Apply. The portal says it charges no fee.
