NADRA Mega Centres: All 14 Addresses, Timings and Services

NADRA runs 14 Mega Centres in Pakistan: seven in Punjab, three in Karachi, two in Peshawar, one in Islamabad and one in Quetta. Seven of them work three shifts a day. The rest work two. All 14 are marked open on Saturday. Call 1777 before a late-night visit.

The NADRA Mega Centre in North Nazimabad, Karachi, is at Plot D15/1, Euro Twin Tower, Block L. It runs three shifts and has one of the few passport counters marked 24/7. The full list of addresses is below.

We took every name, address and shift pattern from NADRA's own centre data on 27 September 2026. That is the data behind the "Find a NADRA Service Centre" map on nadra.gov.pk, which opens NADRA's nGRIDS mapping portal. The count of 14 matches the NADRA Footprint page on the same site. We did not visit the centres, so we cannot tell you how long the queue is tonight.

NADRA Mega Centres list by city

NADRA's data flags 14 Mega Centres. Lahore has three and Rawalpindi has two listings. Karachi has three, Peshawar two, and Islamabad, Quetta, Gujranwala and Faisalabad have one each. Each row shows the address NADRA gives and its shift pattern.

Two small warnings about the data. The Faisalabad record carries the address of a different office, so call 1777 for its location before you set off. And Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan have no Mega Centre at all, according to NADRA's Footprint page.

Two other centres have "Mega" in their name but are not counted as Mega Centres by NADRA: Mega Sialkot at Imam Plaza, Defence Road, and Mega Surjani Town in Karachi. They are normal registration centres in NADRA's records.

NADRA Mega Centre timings and shifts

NADRA does not publish opening and closing times for each Mega Centre. Its data does list the shift pattern. Seven work three shifts, which covers the night, and seven work two. All 14 are marked as open on Saturday. Call 1777 to confirm hours before a late visit.

The three-shift centres are North Nazimabad, DHA and Siemens Chowrangi in Karachi, Egerton Road in Lahore, Blue Area in Islamabad, Gujranwala, and one of the two Murree Road listings in Rawalpindi. Peco Road, Sanda Road, Faisalabad, both Peshawar centres, Quetta and the second Rawalpindi listing work two shifts.

Passport counters are the one place where NADRA's map gives exact hours. The counters at Egerton Road, North Nazimabad and Siemens Chowrangi are marked 24/7. The counters at Peco Road and Sanda Road are listed as "Day and Night until 10:30 pm".

Sunday is the gap. NADRA's data has no Sunday field, so ask 1777 before a Sunday trip.

Services at a NADRA Mega Centre

A Mega Centre is a large NADRA Registration Centre with more counters and staff and longer hours. It handles the same identity work as a normal centre: new and renewed CNICs, NICOP, B-Forms, Family Registration Certificates and corrections. Several also have a passport counter.

What the size means in practice: NADRA's data lists 252 staff at Egerton Road in Lahore and 186 at North Nazimabad in Karachi. The typical NADRA centre in the same data has 8. That is why a Mega Centre can keep counters open into the night.

• Identity documents: CNIC, NICOP, POC, B-Form (Child Registration Certificate) and Juvenile card.
• Certificates: Family Registration Certificate and record cancellation after a death.
• Passports: counters at Egerton Road, Peco Road and Sanda Road in Lahore, and at North Nazimabad and Siemens Chowrangi in Karachi. The Executive Passport Office in Peshawar sits at the NADRA Mega Centre opposite the runway.
• Verification: NADRA offers facial and iris verification at its centres for people whose fingerprints will not read.

Most of these can also be done at a normal centre. For passport renewal at a NADRA centre, pick one of the five Mega Centres with a passport counter, because most normal centres do not have one.

Executive and normal service at Mega Centres

Normal, urgent and executive are processing speeds, not types of centre. You choose the speed at the counter and pay the fee for it. The executive track is the fastest and the most expensive. The choice is made at the counter, not by the building.

People often ask for "the executive NADRA office". There is no separate executive building in NADRA's centre data. Every listing is typed as a normal, female or union council centre. What changes is the fee you pay and how fast the card comes back.

The current NADRA fees for every document show each tier. A first CNIC on the normal track is free, so do not pay for speed unless you truly need the card soon. Once you apply, you can track your NADRA application by SMS to 8400.

How to find the nearest NADRA office

Use NADRA's own map, the 1777 helpline or the PakID app. The map on nadra.gov.pk shows every registration centre, mobile van and e-Sahulat point. The helpline works 24/7, and PakID can book a time slot so you skip the token queue.

1. Open nadra.gov.pk and click "View on map" under "Find a NADRA Service Centre". This opens NADRA's nGRIDS map.
2. Choose "NADRA Facilities", then "NRC" to show registration centres.
3. Zoom to your area and click a centre to see its address and shift.
4. Call 1777 from a mobile, or 051 111 786 100, to check hours before you go.
5. Book a slot in PakID if you want to skip the wait.

NADRA's Footprint page counts 963 registration centres in Pakistan, 234 mobile registration vans and 103 man-pack units. If a Mega Centre is far away, a nearer normal centre may be quicker.

The NADRA appointment on the PakID app lets you choose the office and the time from home. It is useful at a Mega Centre, where the token queue is longest.

Other large NADRA centres in Karachi and Hyderabad

Karachi has two more round-the-clock options that are not counted as Mega Centres. Big Center East on University Road works three shifts, and so does Big NRC Hyderabad in Latifabad. NADRA has also signed up a new Mega Centre for Gulberg Town, Karachi.

NADRA and TMC Gulberg Town signed an agreement on 22 October 2025 for what NADRA called Karachi's largest Mega Centre. NADRA said it would open 24 hours a day, six days a week, with counters for passports, Thalassemia tests, arms licences and senior citizens. It was not in NADRA's centre data when we checked on 27 September 2026.
