QESCO Bill Check Online in Quetta, Free Duplicate Bill and 118 Helpline

Check a QESCO bill online with the 14 digit reference number and print a free duplicate. We tested the Quetta portal and read QESCO's 118 and head office lines.

To check a QESCO bill online, open bill.pitc.com.pk/qescobill, type the 14 digit reference number from an old bill, fill the captcha and press Search. The bill opens free, and the printout works as a duplicate bill. QESCO lists 118 at its Quetta customer centre and 081 9201445 at its head office.

We opened the QESCO bill page on 28 September 2026 and it loaded, titled QESCO Web Bill. QESCO's own website, qesco.com.pk, also loaded, but only after we skipped a browser security warning. More on that below.

Quetta Electric Supply Company, or QESCO, supplies power across Balochistan. NEPRA's licence page says its area covers 43 per cent of Pakistan's land. That makes a QESCO bill check online more useful than in most places, because the nearest office can be a long drive away.

How to check your QESCO bill online

Open bill.pitc.com.pk/qescobill, keep the Reference No option, type the 14 digit number, fill the captcha and press Search. There is no login, no app and no fee. PITC, the state company that runs billing for most government power companies, hosts the page.

Five steps to check a QESCO electricity bill online on the PITC bill portal
  1. Open bill.pitc.com.pk/qescobill. QESCO's homepage links here under Duplicate Bill.
  2. Leave the choice on Reference No. It is already selected when the page opens.
  3. Type the reference number. The box reads "Enter 14-digit valid reference no" and stops at 14 characters.
  4. Fill the captcha. The search will not run without it.
  5. Press Search. The bill appears. Print it or save it as a PDF.

The form has a second option, Customer ID, for when the reference number on your old bill is torn or faded. We read the page code: the box accepts only digits, 10 to 14 of them, and shows "Given Ref/App No is invalid" for anything else. Type digits only, with no spaces or dashes.

QESCO helpline and complaint numbers

QESCO's Customer Services page lists two centres: the Liaquat Bazaar centre in Quetta on 118, and the head office complaint centre on 081 9201445. Every page also carries a toll free number, 0800 84338, for reporting power theft. Complaints can also be filed online on PITC's complaint system.

The Quetta city centre is on Main Liaquat Bazaar, opposite City Police Station, on the first floor of Fire Brigade Plaza. The head office centre is at QESCO Headquarters on Zarghoon Road, beside the CCPO office, in Quetta Cantt. We did not ring any of these numbers.

For a billing dispute, the online complaint form is the one to use because it gives you a ticket number. It finds your account by the 14 digit reference number or by a 12 digit mobile number starting with 92. A Track by Ticket option lets you follow the case.

That complaint page also warns never to pay for a bill, meter, repair or new connection by mobile wallet or bank transfer to a person's own account. If someone asks you to, it says to report it on 118.

QESCO's website shows a security warning

When we opened qesco.com.pk over the secure https address, the connection failed because the site's security certificate had expired. The plain http address loaded. The bill portal at bill.pitc.com.pk is a separate site and loaded securely, so use it for bills.

An expired certificate is a setup problem, not a sign the site was hacked. But it teaches people to click past browser warnings, and a fake bill page would show the same warning. We first saw this on QESCO in August, in our test of power company websites, and it was still there on 28 September.

So type the PITC address yourself for bills. Never enter a card number or wallet PIN on any page that shows a warning.

Getting a QESCO duplicate bill and paying it

The bill the portal shows is your duplicate bill. Print or save it, then pay at a bank or counter, or pay online in a bank app or mobile wallet with the 14 digit reference number. Pay before the due date, because a late payment surcharge is added after it.

  • Bank app or internet banking: open the electricity bill menu, pick QESCO and enter the reference number.
  • Mobile wallet: use the bill payment menu with the same number.
  • Bank counter: take the printed bill from the portal.

There is no separate office or fee for a copy. The same printout works across the electricity bill check online system. The steps for each payment route are in paying utility bills online. We did not make a test payment.

If you cannot pay the whole bill, ask for instalments. QESCO's own Installment Powers page is an old table from 2002, so NEPRA's current electricity bill installment rules are the better guide.

Reading the QESCO bill and fixing a wrong one

Check the units, then the reading dates, then the taxes. If the units look wrong, file a complaint on CCMS or at your subdivision office before the due date. QESCO's own FAQ says a wrong bill should be reported to the subdivision or revenue office.

Five steps to fix a wrong QESCO electricity bill

A bill carries many lines that are not electricity. Fuel adjustments, taxes and fixed charges repeat every month, and the bill line items are worth learning once.

Photograph your meter with the date before you complain. If QESCO does not fix the bill, a complaint to NEPRA is the next step. A meter that runs fast can be tested under NEPRA's rules on a faulty meter test.

Winter matters more than summer in Quetta. Electric heaters push units up fast in December and January, so compare with the same month last year first.

Where QESCO supplies power

QESCO's own Introduction page says it serves the whole of Balochistan except Lasbela district. NEPRA's licence page says QESCO covers the entire province. The two official pages differ, so check the company name printed on your bill if you live near Lasbela or the Sindh border.

QESCO holds NEPRA distribution licence 08/DL/2002. Its Introduction page, which has not been updated in years, says farm connections make up about 70 to 80 per cent of power demand.

Every state company uses the same PITC portal with its own name in the address. Upper Sindh is SEPCO, Hyderabad is HESCO, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is PESCO.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked on 28 September 2026. We opened bill.pitc.com.pk/qescobill and read the form: the Reference No and Customer ID options, the 14 character box, the captcha and the invalid number message. On QESCO's website we read the Customer Services page with 118 and 081 9201445 and both addresses, the toll free theft number, the Introduction page, the FAQ and the Installment Powers page. The https address failed with an expired certificate, and the http address loaded. The payment warning and the 118 mention are read on PITC's complaint page at ccms.pitc.com.pk. The 43 per cent figure and licence number are read on NEPRA's distribution licence page. We did not enter a live reference number, ring any number or make a payment.
