Remitly sends money to Pakistan three ways: into a mobile wallet such as JazzCash, Easypaisa, SadaPay, NayaPay or UPaisa, into a bank account at HBL, UBL, MCB, Meezan and dozens of other banks, or as cash pickup. On 2 November 2026 its UK and US pages advertised no fee on a new customer's first transfer. After that, the fee and the exchange rate depend on the amount, the speed you pick and how you pay.

We read Remitly's own Pakistan pages for senders in the UK and the US. Below is every wallet and bank on its list, the rates it showed on the day, what your family needs to receive the money, the wallet limits to check first, and what to do if a transfer is stuck.

Remitly pays out to wallets, banks and cash pickup in Pakistan

Remitly's Pakistan page lists cash pickup, bank deposit and mobile wallet. The sender chooses one in the app and enters the recipient's details. The wallet list covers the main Pakistani wallets, and the bank list covers almost every bank that operates in the country.

A few names on Remitly's list are old names of banks that later merged into others. If your bank is not shown by its current name in the app, check for its old name, or ask your bank which name to use. Remitly's page says the trademarks belong to their owners and imply no endorsement.

On 2 November 2026, Remitly's UK page showed everyday rates between Rs 368.41 and Rs 371.00 for £1, and a first transfer offer of Rs 373.97. Its US page showed Rs 271.98 to Rs 276.95 for $1, with a first transfer offer of Rs 281.24. Rates change through the day.

The UK page also said the promotional rate applies only to the first £500 sent, and only when paying by bank transfer, for new customers. In one place it mentioned no fees on the first four transfers. Read the offer in the app before you rely on it, because the terms are the company's and can change.

Compare the rupee amount your family will get, not the fee. The same check works for Taptap Send, Wise or MoneyGram.

Check your family's wallet limit before sending to JazzCash or Easypaisa

A wallet transfer can bounce if the receiving account is at a basic level with a low monthly limit. Ask the person receiving to check their account level in the JazzCash or Easypaisa app first. For large sums, a bank account or an Asaan remittance account is safer.

The receiving limits by account type are set out in receiving remittance in a JazzCash wallet, and the State Bank's limits for Asaan accounts in Asaan account limits. SadaPay and NayaPay have their own monthly limits after biometric checks, which are in SadaPay limits and NayaPay limits.

Remitly's UK page also promises that transfers will be delivered on time "or we'll refund your fees". That covers the fee, not the money itself, which still has to reach the right account.

How to send money to Pakistan with Remitly

You send through the Remitly app. Choose Pakistan, pick the delivery method and provider, enter the recipient's details, check the rupee amount and pay. Remitly says you and your family can track the transfer every step of the way.

  1. Download the Remitly app and sign up in the country you live in.
  2. Choose Pakistan as the destination and enter the amount.
  3. Pick mobile wallet, bank deposit or cash pickup, then choose the provider.
  4. Enter the recipient's full name exactly as on their CNIC, plus their wallet number or bank account.
  5. Check the exchange rate, fee and rupee amount, then pay.
  6. Share the tracking details with your family and keep the reference until the money arrives.
Steps to send money to Pakistan with Remitly

Remitly U.K. Ltd says it is authorised by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority as an electronic money institution, under register number 1047222. That is the UK company; senders in other countries deal with Remitly's company there.

What to do if a Remitly transfer to Pakistan is stuck

Check the status in the Remitly app first. Most delays come from a wrong account number, a name that does not match the account, or extra checks on the sender's side. If Remitly shows the money as delivered but it is not there, your family should complain to the bank or wallet with the reference.

The full complaint route in Pakistan, from the bank to the State Bank and the Banking Mohtasib, is in money sent to Pakistan has not arrived. Money received this way also counts towards the Pasban remittance reward draw.
