Short answer: The Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) published nine interview results between 6 and 8 October 2026. Together they recommend 25 candidates for 29 posts, and 4 seats stay open. The biggest result is Assistant Director (M&E) in the Health Department, with 10 of 14 seats filled.

We opened all nine press releases on the SPSC Interview Results page on 13 October 2026 and read each one. They all follow the same layout: roll number, written marks, interview marks, total marks and domicile. We do not print candidate names or roll numbers here. They are on the official notices.

Nine results fill 25 of 29 advertised seats

Each press release states how many posts were available, how many were recommended and how many remain. Added up across the nine, 29 posts were available, 25 were filled and 4 remain. All four open seats are in one result, the Health Department's Assistant Director (M&E).

SPSC interview results of 6 to 8 October 2026: recommended candidates by post

The Health Department result leaves four seats open

The Assistant Director (M&E) notice dated 8 October is the only one with seats left. It lists 8 rural and 6 urban seats. SPSC recommended 7 rural and 3 urban candidates, which leaves 1 rural and 3 urban seats open.

The notice does not say what happens to the open seats. We do not know if SPSC will fill them from another list or re-advertise. Only SPSC can say, so watch its press releases.

Four SPSC seats left open in the Health Department Assistant Director result

Rural and urban seats are counted separately

Each notice has allocation lines headed Open Merit (M/F) Rural and Open Merit (M/F) Urban, and each candidate has a domicile printed against the name. So seats are counted in two pools, and a result can fill one pool and leave the other open, as the Health Department notice does.

In the Agriculture Officer result all five seats were urban. Written marks there run from 35 to 55, and interview marks from 67 to 82. The marks needed differ by post and by pool, so only the notice for your own post tells you where you stand.

  1. Find your post's press release on the SPSC Interview Results page.
  2. Read the table at the bottom, headed quota wise number of posts available and recommended.
  3. Check the allocation line for your domicile, rural or urban.
  4. Find your roll number in the list above it.
  5. Read the four notes printed under the table.

What the four printed notes say

Each press release repeats four notes. They say the result is issued with the Chairperson's approval, and that publication does not entitle a candidate to appointment as a matter of right. They also say the Commission may correct the result at any stage if an error is found, and that the result is on the SPSC website.

So a recommendation can be corrected. Keep your own marks record and check the site again before you act on a result. For how SPSC publishes written and interview results step by step, see the guide to checking your SPSC result.

A scrapped test was set to be repeated

On 18 August 2026 SPSC issued a press release scrapping the pre-interview written test for Soil Conservation Assistant (BPS-16) because of technical glitches. It said the test would be re-conducted. The SPSC written result page lists a Soil Conservation Assistant result under September 2026.

This post is not among the nine interview results. If you sat that test, watch the SPSC page for your interview date. Other open SPSC jobs are covered in the notes on SPSC Advertisement 05/2026, which closes on 23 October, and in the guide to uploading your documents on the SPSC candidate portal.

Common questions

How many candidates did SPSC recommend in October 2026?

In the nine results of 6 to 8 October, SPSC recommended 25 candidates for 29 posts. Four seats remain, all in the Health Department's Assistant Director (M&E) result.

Does a recommendation guarantee a job?

No. The notice says publication does not entitle the candidate to appointment as a matter of right. The Commission may also correct the result if an error is detected.

What are rural and urban seats?

The notices count open merit seats in two pools, rural and urban, and print each candidate's domicile. The marks reached can differ between the two pools.

Where do I check my SPSC result?

On the SPSC website, under Interview Results or Written Results. Each result is a separate PDF press release with roll numbers and marks.

What happened to the Soil Conservation Assistant test?

SPSC scrapped it on 18 August 2026 because of technical glitches and said it would be repeated. A September entry is listed on the written results page.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked on 13 October 2026, Pakistan time. We read the nine SPSC press releases listed under October 2026 on the SPSC Interview Results page and the 18 August press release on the Soil Conservation Assistant test. The seat totals are our own sum of the nine tables. We did not check appointment orders, which come from the departments.
