Telegram Premium in Pakistan: How to Buy It Cheaper With @PremiumBot, Gift It and Every Feature You Get
Buy Telegram Premium in Pakistan through Settings, Google Play or cheaper @PremiumBot. See the 4 GB upload limit, gifting for 3 to 12 months and what expires.
Telegram Premium in Pakistan is bought in Telegram Settings, under Telegram Premium, through Google Play or the App Store, or through @PremiumBot in the direct Android, Desktop and macOS apps, which Telegram says is cheaper because it avoids store fees. The bot prices your first payment by the country code of your phone number, so a +92 number gets Pakistan's local rate.
Most people want Premium for one of three things: 4 GB file uploads, faster downloads, or voice notes turned into text. The price is the confusing part, because Telegram shows a different amount depending on where and how you pay. We read Telegram's own Premium FAQ and main FAQ on 1 November 2026. Here is every way to buy it, why the bot is cheaper, how to gift it, and exactly what you lose when it ends.
Telegram Premium has 3 ways to pay, and the bot costs least
You can subscribe through Google Play, the App Store, or @PremiumBot. Telegram says bot purchases are cheaper because Apple and Google take no fee. The bot works only in Telegram's direct apps for Android, Desktop and macOS, not the versions downloaded from the stores.
| Route | Where | Currency |
|---|---|---|
| Google Play | Telegram Settings, Telegram Premium | Your Google account's currency |
| App Store | Telegram Settings, Telegram Premium | Your Apple account's currency |
| @PremiumBot | Direct Android, Desktop or macOS app | First payment by phone country code |
| Gift | Gift Premium on a profile | Telegram's global rate |
Telegram does not publish a price list on its FAQ. It says prices vary slightly to reflect local living standards, may include store fees and local taxes, and that yearly plans are sold at a large discount. The Settings screen shows your exact rupee price before you pay.
Buy Telegram Premium in 5 steps
Open Telegram, go to Settings, tap Telegram Premium, choose monthly or yearly, and pay through the store or the bot. A yearly plan costs less per month, and the subscription then works across every Telegram app you sign in to.
- Open Telegram and go to Settings.
- Tap Telegram Premium to see the features and your local price.
- Choose a monthly or yearly plan. Yearly is discounted.
- Pay through Google Play or the App Store, or through @PremiumBot if you use a direct app.
- Check that the premium badge appears beside your name.
Local pricing through the bot has a condition. Telegram says your payment method must be issued by a bank in that country and carry a local billing address. A Pakistani debit card with a Pakistani address meets it. Later bot payments use the currency of your card's country.
The biggest gains are 4 GB uploads and voice-to-text
Free Telegram uploads files up to 2 GB each, and Premium raises that to 4 GB. Premium also gives faster downloads, voice and video message transcription, no ads, real-time translation of chats and channels, and doubled limits on things like folders, pinned chats and saved GIFs.
- 4 GB files: double the free 2 GB, useful for long lecture recordings or design files.
- Faster downloads: large files arrive quicker on the same connection.
- Voice-to-text: read a long voice note in a meeting instead of playing it.
- Translation: chats and channels translated as you read.
- No ads: sponsored messages disappear.
- Looks: premium stickers, reactions, custom emoji, emoji statuses, animated profile pictures and app icons.
Be realistic about the doubled limits. Telegram's FAQ lists them as a feature but does not print the numbers, so check the Settings screen if a particular limit is the reason you are paying.
Gift Premium for 3, 6 or 12 months at the global rate
Open a person's profile and tap Gift Premium to send a prepaid subscription of 3, 6 or 12 months. Gifts are discounted, but Telegram charges them at its global rate rather than the Pakistani rate, and the person can switch to a local subscription later.
Group admins have another reason to gift. Telegram says an admin who gifts Premium gets three boosts per gift for the group. Boosts unlock group features by level, such as one story a day at level 1 and unlimited voice-to-text at level 6.
| Group boost level | What it unlocks |
|---|---|
| Level 1 | One story per day |
| Level 2 | Eight group cover colours |
| Level 4 | A group emoji pack |
| Level 6 | Unlimited voice-to-text |
When Premium ends, the extras lock but nothing is deleted
Premium features stay until the end of the paid period. After that, the first 10 folders keep working and the rest lock, GIFs past 200 are hidden, only the first 70 characters of your bio show, and only your first 5 pinned chats stay pinned.
Downloads return to standard speed and the badge disappears. You cannot create new public usernames unless you own fewer than 10, and you cannot join more channels beyond the free limit. Telegram says all free features remain exactly as they were.
So Premium is easy to try for a month. If you also want to tighten the account while you are in Settings, the steps to secure a Telegram account take a few minutes. If a frozen or limited account is the real problem, Premium will not fix it, and the Telegram limited account appeal through the spam bot is the route. Need a private chat that disappears? A Telegram secret chat is free.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 1 November 2026. We read Telegram's Premium FAQ (payment routes, @PremiumBot apps and pricing rules, local card condition, gifts, boosts, expiry limits) and its main FAQ (2 GB and 4 GB file sizes) on 1 November 2026. Telegram does not publish rupee prices or the exact doubled-limit numbers, and our check ran from outside Pakistan, so we have not stated a price. We did not buy a subscription.
