Track My MG: Check Your MG Car Booking Status in Pakistan With Order Number and OTP

We opened the Track My MG page on 8 November 2026 and read every instruction on it. We did not enter a booking number, because we do not hold an MG booking, so this guide describes the page as MG shows it to the public. If your order is not found, the fixes and the contacts are further down.

Check your MG booking status in four steps

The Track My MG page has one box and one button. The whole check takes about two minutes if you have your email open. You need the booking number exactly as MG sent it, including the MG- at the start.

1. Open mgmotors.com.pk/track-my-mg on your phone or computer.
2. Type your booking or order number from the confirmation email in the box marked MG-XXXXXXX.
3. Press Send OTP. MG sends a verification code to the mobile number or email on your booking.
4. Enter the code. MG then shows your order details on the same page.

The page also links to the MG menu at the top, so you can reach Book My MG, the dealer locator and Schedule a Service from the same place. None of those are needed for the status check.

What the MG tracking page shows you

MG's own confidentiality note on the page lists what you will see once the OTP is accepted. It names three things: your booking number, your tentative delivery date and your car information. Tentative means the date can still move.

Check the car information carefully. If the model, variant or colour is not what you paid for, raise it with your dealer at once, in writing. A mistake is easier to fix before the car is built or shipped.

The page asks for a booking number, not a CNIC

Some makers let you track a car with your CNIC. MG's page does not. It accepts only the MG booking or order number, and its confidentiality note also calls it your PBO number (provisional booking order). If you search with a CNIC, nothing will happen.

If you cannot find the confirmation email, search your inbox and spam folder for "MG Motors". If it is still missing, ask the dealer where you booked to resend it or read the number from their system.

Fix the usual Track My MG problems

Most failures come from a wrong number or an old phone number on the booking. Try these in order before you call anyone.

• No OTP arrives. Wait two minutes and check spam if it went to email. The code goes to the contact details on the booking, not to the phone you are using now.
• Order not found. Type the number again with the MG- prefix and no spaces. Copying it straight from the email avoids typing mistakes.
• Your phone number changed. Ask the dealer to update it on your booking. Until then the OTP will keep going to the old number.
• The delivery date has passed. Ask the dealer for a written update and keep a copy with your booking papers.

MG's page gives one help address, info@mgmotors.com.pk. MG's site also lists a WhatsApp number, +92 316 4411664. Send your booking number but never your full CNIC or bank details over chat.

Keep your MG booking money safe

MG's page warns that the booking details are for the registered customer only and that misuse of the data is not allowed. Treat your booking number like a password. Do not post a screenshot of your order details on social media or in a car group.

Pay only into MG Motors Pakistan's own account through an authorised dealer, and keep the booking confirmation email. Anyone who offers a faster delivery slot for an extra payment is not MG. Before delivery, work out the withholding tax for filers and non-filers, because it is charged when the car is invoiced.

Booked a different brand as well? The same kind of check works for a Kia delivery with the PBO number and a Hyundai booking.
