Umrah Visa From Pakistan in 2026: Book on Nusuk or Through an Attested Agent

You can get an Umrah visa from Pakistan in 2026 in two ways. You can book through a Pakistani travel agent on the Ministry of Religious Affairs list of attested Umrah operators. Or you can book a package yourself on Nusuk Umrah, Saudi Arabia's official platform, where the visa comes with the package. Pakistan is on the platform's list of serviced countries.

We checked both routes on 28 September 2026. The cheapest Nusuk package we saw was 3,592.83 Saudi riyals per person for 5 nights in Makkah, with VAT.

Pakistanis have two routes to an Umrah visa in 2026

The first route is a Pakistani agent working with a Saudi Umrah company. The second is Nusuk Umrah, where you register, top up a wallet and buy a package from an approved Saudi provider. Both end with a Saudi e-visa in your name.

Most Pakistani pilgrims still use an agent. That is fine if the agent is on the ministry's attested list, which had 108 operators for 2026-27 when we read it: 42 in Karachi, 21 in Lahore and 15 in Islamabad. On Nusuk, a package can only be bought on the platform itself, not by calling a provider.

Booking an Umrah package on Nusuk Umrah takes six steps

You register with an email, upload your passport and photo, wait for verification, add money to the platform wallet, then choose and pay for a package. The platform's own user guide sets out these steps. The visa is issued as part of the package.

1. Register. Open umrah.nusuk.sa, choose Pakistan as your country of residence, enter your email and confirm the code sent to it.
2. Upload documents. Add your passport, a personal photo and proof of residence. Then fill in contact, job, arrival and health details.
3. Wait for verification. Your profile shows "under verification", "verified" or "rejected". A rejection comes with a reason by email, and you can fix it and resubmit.
4. Top up the wallet. The platform accepts Visa and Mastercard cards or a bank transfer to an IBAN that belongs to your account. The wallet must hold more than the package price.
5. Choose and pay. Pick the package, rooms, transport, extra services and flight, then pay from the wallet.
6. Print the visa. Nusuk's help page says the official visa is printed from the Saudi foreign ministry's platform, visa.mofa.gov.sa.

You can add up to 7 family members to one account, and all must be verified before you buy. A woman does not need a mahram (a male guardian), the platform says. The minimum age on Nusuk Umrah is five.

"Fingerprint Required" on your visa means you must give fingerprints through the Visa Bio app. "Consular Visit Required" means taking your passport to the Saudi consulate. Check the MRP passport deadline of 15 October before you apply.

A Nusuk Umrah package started at 3,592 riyals when we checked

Prices on Nusuk Umrah are in Saudi riyals per person, with VAT. On 28 September 2026 the lowest was 3,592.83 riyals for 5 nights in Makkah. A 10 night Makkah and Madinah package was 6,231.41 riyals.

A comprehensive package includes the visa, flights, hotels, meals, transport between cities, insurance and guidance, according to the platform. The price rises when you add better rooms or extra services.

We found no separate Umrah visa fee on any official page we could read, so we do not quote one. Saudi Arabia has also added a mandatory Umrah food voucher to the bill for Pakistani pilgrims. Ask any agent to show it as its own line.

A wallet refund returns the whole balance minus a 3 per cent fee. Cancelling a package flight costs 30 riyals per passenger in Nusuk's fee, plus airline charges.

Umrah insurance covers 90 days and up to 100,000 riyals

The Umrah Insurance Program comes with the package. Its policy text on Nusuk covers medical emergencies and accidents for 90 days from the date you enter Saudi Arabia, with health cover up to 100,000 riyals per person.

It is emergency cover only, so carry your own medicines and prescriptions.

Saudi Arabia requires meningitis and polio proof from Pakistani pilgrims

Saudi Arabia's health ministry rules for Umrah require a meningitis (ACYW) vaccine for every pilgrim, given at least 10 days before arrival. Because Pakistan is on Saudi Arabia's polio list, every traveller from Pakistan must also show at least one polio dose.

The flu shot is only advised in the Saudi rules. Pakistan's Border Health Services adds its own conditions, and Karachi airport now wants a NADRA vaccination card for Umrah pilgrims.

Pakistani Umrah operators must be attested by the ministry

The Hajj and Umrah (Regulation) Act, 2024 gives Pakistan's Ministry of Religious Affairs power to register and licence Umrah group organisers. The Act lets a complaint committee fine or blacklist an operator and order compensation to a pilgrim who loses money.

We read the Act in the Gazette of 30 August 2024. Section 12 covers licensing against a security deposit, and section 13 makes the organiser liable for a default that causes hardship. Under section 16, a complaint committee can blacklist, suspend, fine or order compensation. On 14 July 2026 the ministry also issued the forms for attesting Umrah contracts. Before you pay anyone:

• Search the agency's name on the ministry's attested Umrah tour operators list.
• Match its DTS licence number and phone with what the agent gives you.
• Get a written package with the hotel names, the nights in each city and the total price.
• Pay into the company's account, never a personal one, and keep every receipt.

The Rawdah permit is booked in the Nusuk app, once a year

To pray in the Rawdah, the area of the Prophet's Mosque between his room and his pulpit, you need a booked slot in the Nusuk app. Nusuk says each visitor can book once a year through the normal booking service.

A second option, the instant track, opens new slots every 20 minutes for visitors already near the mosque, and can be used again. For a group booking, each person must accept from their own Nusuk account.

Arrive 30 minutes before your slot with the entry code. From the south side, courtyard gates 367 and 368 are closest, Nusuk says.

The Saudi tourist eVisa is not confirmed for Pakistani passports

We could not confirm that a Pakistani passport alone qualifies for the Saudi tourist eVisa. The official eVisa site blocked outside access when we last tried. Pakistanis who already hold a valid visa can use Nusuk's packages without a visa, the platform says.
