Easypaisa Term Deposit Rates in Pakistan: 13% for 7 Days, 10% for a Year, From Rs 500
Easypaisa pays 13% on a 7 day term deposit, 12% monthly and 10% yearly from Rs 500, plus Daily Rewards up to 9.5% with no minimum. See what Rs 100,000 earns.

Easypaisa pays a 13 per cent profit rate on a 7 day term deposit, 12 per cent for 1 month, 11 per cent for 3 months, 10.5 per cent for 6 months and 10 per cent for 12 months, from a minimum of Rs 500, according to its wealth management page. Its Daily Rewards option pays up to 9.5 per cent a year with no minimum balance, and its older savings plans pay 7, 9 or 11 per cent a year on balances of Rs 2,000, Rs 5,000 or Rs 20,000.
We read the wealth management page and the FAQ page on easypaisa.com.pk on 19 October 2026. Easypaisa is a licensed microfinance bank, so money placed in these products is a bank deposit, and the rates it advertises are the bank's own figures. What the page does not say, and what we could not verify, is listed below rather than guessed.
Term deposits pay from 13 per cent for 7 days down to 10 per cent for a year
The page lists five term deposits: weekly at 13 per cent, monthly at 12 per cent, quarterly at 11 per cent, half yearly at 10.5 per cent and yearly at 10 per cent. Any amount from Rs 500 can be deposited, and you pick a payout plan. The shorter the lock, the higher the rate.
That shape is the reverse of most bank deposit ladders, where a longer lock earns more. It makes sense only if the rates are yearly rates applied for the term, so a 13 per cent weekly deposit earns about a quarter of one per cent in its 7 days. Easypaisa's page says "profit rate" without the word "annual", and we could not find the term sheet, so treat the figures as yearly rates until the app shows you the rupee amount.
On that reading, Rs 100,000 in the 7 day deposit earns about Rs 249 before tax, and the same money in the 12 month deposit earns about Rs 10,000. Those are our calculations. Tax on profit is deducted at the FBR withholding rate for your filer status, which the page does not mention.

| Easypaisa term deposit | Tenure | Profit rate on the page | Profit on Rs 100,000 for one term, our arithmetic |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weekly | 7 days | 13% | About Rs 249 |
| Monthly | 1 month | 12% | About Rs 1,000 |
| Quarterly | 3 months | 11% | About Rs 2,750 |
| Half yearly | 6 months | 10.5% | About Rs 5,250 |
| Yearly | 12 months | 10% | Rs 10,000 |
Daily Rewards pays up to 9.5 per cent with no minimum and no lock
The page describes Daily Rewards as earning daily, with no entry or exit limits, up to 9.5 per cent yearly reward, one tap subscription and no minimum balance. Money stays in your wallet and can be spent at any time. The trade is a lower rate for full access.
"Up to" is doing some work in that sentence. The page does not show the tiers below 9.5 per cent or the balance needed to reach it. For somebody who keeps a few thousand rupees in the wallet between salary and bills, a daily reward on that float is better than nothing, but do not plan on the headline number without checking the rate the app shows on your balance.
The page also lists a Savings Pocket with 3, 6 or 12 month plans that "earn rewards on savings". No rate is printed for it. We could not find the Savings Pocket rates on the website, so that product is not compared here.
The older savings plans pay 7, 9 or 11 per cent on fixed minimum balances
Easypaisa's FAQ lists three savings plans: Silver at 7 per cent annual profit with a Rs 2,000 minimum balance, Gold at 9 per cent with Rs 5,000, and Platinum at 11 per cent with Rs 20,000. Subscribing in the app turns the account into a savings account, with no documents required.
These plans sit in the FAQ while the term deposits and Daily Rewards sit on the wealth management page, and the two pages do not say whether all of them are still open. If both are live, the Platinum plan's 11 per cent on a Rs 20,000 balance is below the 13 per cent weekly deposit and above the 9.5 per cent Daily Rewards cap. The wallet shows what you can actually subscribe to, and that screen is the one to trust.

How the rates compare with JazzCash and the policy rate
The State Bank of Pakistan held its policy rate at 11.5 per cent in September 2026. Easypaisa's 13 per cent weekly and 12 per cent monthly deposits sit above that, its yearly deposit below it. JazzCash's savings plan and the market T-bill rates are set out in a separate comparison.
A rate above the policy rate on a 7 day deposit is generous for a bank, which is one reason to confirm it in the app before moving a large sum. The comparison of the JazzCash savings plan, Salaam and T-bills shows what the rival wallet pays, and the record of SBP holding the rate at 11.5 per cent is the benchmark both wallets price against. If the policy rate falls at the next meeting, expect these deposit rates to follow in the next quarter.
Deposits in a microfinance bank are covered by the Deposit Protection Corporation up to its limit, which Easypaisa's page does not mention and we did not verify for this product, so ask the helpline if that guarantee matters to you.
How to open a term deposit in the Easypaisa app
Log in to the Easypaisa app, open the savings or wealth section, choose Term Deposit, pick the tenure and payout plan, enter an amount of Rs 500 or more and confirm with your PIN. The profit rate and the maturity amount show on screen before you confirm.
- Open the Easypaisa app and log in.
- Tap the savings or wealth management section on the home screen.
- Choose Term Deposit, then the tenure: 7 days, 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.
- Enter the amount, minimum Rs 500, and pick the payout plan.
- Read the rate and the maturity amount on screen. If the rupee figure does not match about a yearly rate for the term, stop and ask the helpline.
- Confirm with your PIN and keep the receipt.

Money in a term deposit is locked for the tenure, so keep an emergency float in the wallet or in Daily Rewards. Larger deposits also push against your account's daily limits, which depend on your verification level; the steps to raise the Easypaisa limit involve a biometric check in the app. For a problem with a payout, call 3737 from Telenor or 042 111 003737 from other networks, and escalate through SBP's Sunwai portal if the bank does not resolve it.
Common questions about Easypaisa savings
What is the Easypaisa term deposit rate?
13 per cent for 7 days, 12 per cent for 1 month, 11 per cent for 3 months, 10.5 per cent for 6 months and 10 per cent for 12 months, on the wealth management page read on 19 October 2026.
What is the minimum amount for an Easypaisa term deposit?
Rs 500. The page says you can deposit any amount starting from Rs 500.
Is the 13 per cent paid in one week?
Almost certainly not. The page says "profit rate" without stating a period, and bank deposit rates are normally yearly, so a 7 day deposit earns about a quarter of one per cent. Check the rupee figure in the app.
What does Daily Rewards pay?
Up to 9.5 per cent a year, with no minimum balance and no entry or exit limits. The page does not show the lower tiers.
Are the Silver, Gold and Platinum plans still available?
They are listed in the FAQ at 7, 9 and 11 per cent with Rs 2,000, Rs 5,000 and Rs 20,000 minimums. The website does not say whether they remain open, so check the app.
Is tax deducted on the profit?
Profit on bank deposits is subject to FBR withholding tax at the rate for your filer status. Easypaisa's page does not state the net figure.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 19 October 2026. The term deposit rates, the Rs 500 minimum, the Daily Rewards terms and the Savings Pocket description come from the Easypaisa wealth management page, and the Silver, Gold and Platinum plans from the Easypaisa FAQ page, both read on 19 October 2026. The profit figures in rupees are our own arithmetic on the assumption that the rates are yearly. We could not verify whether the rates are annualised, the Savings Pocket rate, the Daily Rewards tiers, the tax deducted, or deposit protection cover, and we did not open a deposit ourselves.
