Check If Google's Aggregator and Supplier Units Reach Pakistan: Only the EEA, South Africa and Türkiye Are Listed
Google's page on aggregator and supplier units lists the EEA, South Africa and Türkiye only. See what that means for Pakistani hotels, shops and sites.

Short answer: Google's page on aggregator units, supplier units and ecosystem carousels lists three regions: the European Economic Area, South Africa and Türkiye. Pakistan is not listed. If you run a Pakistani hotel, shop or travel site, these special results are not something you can sign up for today.
A hotel owner in Murree reads that Google has added "local businesses" to a new search feature, and wonders if the guest bookings will start to come through it. For now, the answer on Google's own page is no, not in Pakistan.
We read the Google Search Central page titled regional differences in the Search experience on 12 October 2026. It shows "Last updated 2026-09-18 UTC". Google's documentation changelog says the page was added on 8 September 2026 and extended on 18 September to cover local business queries.
Google defines three special result types on this page
The page describes an aggregator unit, a supplier unit and an ecosystem carousel. Each one is a block of results on the search page that gives visibility to certain participants in a market, apart from the normal blue links.
An aggregator unit gives visibility to aggregators. A supplier unit does the same for direct suppliers, such as a hotel selling its own rooms. An ecosystem carousel can appear with answers that need data and interaction, for example stock charts, weather or sports scores.
These are sections Google shows in some countries. They are not a ranking factor you can switch on for your own website.
Only the EEA, South Africa and Türkiye are listed
The page names the regions where these features are covered. Pakistan, India, the Gulf states and the United States are not among them. That does not mean they cannot be added later. It means the documentation gives no instructions for Pakistan today.
| Region on the page | Verticals named |
|---|---|
| European Economic Area | Hotels, flights, ground transportation, local businesses, products, weather, sports, finance, translation, jobs, things to do, vacation rentals |
| South Africa | Travel, products, car hire, food delivery, ground transportation, hotels, things to do, flights, vacation rentals |
| Türkiye | Hotels, local businesses, vacation rentals |
| Pakistan | Not listed |

The page gives no sign-up steps for any region
The page also does not explain how a business joins these units. So even in the listed regions, we cannot tell you a path. Anyone who sells a "Google supplier unit placement" in Pakistan has nothing on this page to point to.
The September 2026 extension added local business queries. In plain words, Google now documents that a search for a local business can show these units in the regions where they are available. Pakistan is not one of them.
The reason this matters is money. These units sit above or beside the normal results, so a business inside one can get clicks without a high ranking. A Pakistani business outside them competes only in the usual results, and that is the position of every Pakistani site today. Knowing that saves you from planning around a feature you cannot reach.
Check these things for your Pakistani site instead
Put your effort into features that are open to you. A free business profile on Maps is the clearest one for any shop or office. Product listings through the Merchant Center free listings are another. Both are open to Pakistani businesses.
- Claim and complete your Google Business Profile with the correct name, address and hours.
- Add accurate photos, services and a phone number.
- Reply to reviews on the profile.
- If you sell products, set up free listings in Merchant Center.
- Re-read Google's regional page every few months in case Pakistan is added.

The setup for a shop listing is in the walkthrough for putting your shop on Google Maps for free. Sellers can read whether Pakistani sellers can list products free on Google Merchant Center. A related region gap exists for creators, as shown in the note on the Google Search profile not being open in Pakistan yet.
How to avoid paying for a feature you cannot get
If an agency offers to put you into a Google unit or carousel, ask them for the Google documentation that names Pakistan. If they cannot show one, the offer is a sales line.
The same caution applies to many "Google program" claims. Our checklist on checking an SEO agency's claims against Google's advice shows how to test them.
