SSGC LPG Cylinder Order in Karachi: WhatsApp Number, 5 Pickup Outlets, Timings and Delivery

To order an SSGC LPG cylinder in Karachi, call or WhatsApp 0321-2255217 one day ahead, Monday to Friday between 9 am and 5:30 pm, with a break from 1 pm to 2 pm. You can then collect from one of four SSGC LPG outlets in Karachi or one in Hyderabad, or ask for delivery through your nearest SSGC customer facilitation centre. Below are the outlets, their contact numbers and what to check before you pay.

Cylinder prices have climbed this October, and homes in gas-short parts of Karachi lean on LPG every winter. SSGC LPG Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sui Southern Gas Company, sells cylinders directly as well as through distributors. We read its order page and company pages on ssgclpg.com on 25 October 2026.

SSGC LPG takes orders by phone and WhatsApp, one day ahead

SSGC LPG's order page says orders, new cylinder requests and refills go through one number, 0321-2255217, by call or WhatsApp. Orders must be placed a day in advance, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm, with a break from 1 pm to 2 pm.

Plan around the weekend. A cylinder that runs out on Friday evening cannot be ordered again until Monday morning, going by these hours. Ordering on Thursday for Friday pickup is the safer habit in winter.

Five SSGC LPG outlets take self-pickup

SSGC LPG lists four pickup outlets in Karachi, at Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Hyderi in North Nazimabad and Gulshan-e-Maymar, and one at Autobahn in Hyderabad. Each has a named contact person and phone number on the order page.

The order page lists the Gulistan-e-Jauhar outlet twice with two different numbers, 0321-2255193 and 0336-8506959. We have given both. If one does not answer, try the other, or place the order on the main number.

The page links each outlet to a map location, but the street addresses are not written out. Ask for the exact address on WhatsApp when you order.

Delivery runs through SSGC's customer facilitation centres

For delivery or pickup, SSGC LPG's page also says to contact your nearest SSGC customer facilitation centre (CFC) and have the order noted one day before. It does not list a delivery charge, delivery areas or delivery hours.

The addresses and phone numbers are listed in SSGC's customer facilitation centres. Calling the centre nearest your house is the practical step. Ask three things on the call: whether they deliver to your area, the charge, and the day.

Check the price against OGRA's cap before you pay

SSGC LPG's order page showed no cylinder prices when we read it. LPG prices in Pakistan are capped each month by OGRA, the oil and gas regulator, so ask the outlet for the price of an 11.8 kg cylinder and compare it with OGRA's notified price for the month.

OGRA's monthly figure is in LPG prices for October 2026, and the week's city prices are in LPG cylinder prices across 17 cities. OGRA sets a new price each month, so a quote in the last days of October may not hold into November.

Follow these steps when you buy:

1. WhatsApp 0321-2255217 a day ahead with your area and cylinder size.
2. Ask for the price, the pickup outlet's address, or the CFC for delivery.
3. Compare the price with OGRA's notified rate for the month.
4. At pickup, check the seal and the weight on a scale.
5. Keep the receipt or the WhatsApp message with the price.

Report overcharging and check the cylinder

If any seller charges above OGRA's cap, you can complain to OGRA. Before you connect a cylinder at home, check the seal and the valve, and smell for gas before you light the stove.

The complaint route is in reporting LPG overcharging to OGRA. Basic safety checks, such as the soap test for leaks, are in checking an LPG cylinder is safe. For other sellers, confirm they are on OGRA's authorised distributor list before you buy.

SSGC LPG itself describes an open-access LPG import terminal at Port Qasim with 6,500 tonnes of storage on its company page. That says nothing about the price on your doorstep, but it explains why a state-owned seller exists in a market run mostly by private companies.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

We read SSGC LPG's order page and its home page on ssgclpg.com on 25 October 2026 for the order number, hours, break, one-day notice, CFC delivery note, outlet names, contact people and phone numbers, and the Port Qasim terminal and storage figures. The order page lists two numbers for the Gulistan-e-Jauhar outlet. It shows no prices, delivery areas or delivery charges, and the outlets' street addresses sit behind map links, so we have not stated them. We did not place an order.
