LPG Price in Pakistan for November 2026: OGRA Sets Cylinder at Rs 3,470.09, Every Size Listed
OGRA set LPG at Rs 294.08 a kg for November 2026, so an 11.8 kg cylinder can cost up to Rs 3,470.09. See the change, every cylinder size and how to complain.

OGRA has raised the LPG price for November 2026 to Rs 294.08 a kg, so an 11.8 kg domestic cylinder can now cost up to Rs 3,470.09, which is Rs 173.86 more than in October. The new price took effect on 1 November 2026. OGRA, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority, signed the notification on 31 October and posted it on its LPG prices page, where we read it early on 1 November.
This is the fourth rise in a row. Since July, when a cylinder was capped at Rs 2,848.91, the price has climbed by Rs 621.18. If you cook on LPG, a month of gas now costs noticeably more than it did in the summer.
OGRA's LPG price for November 2026 is Rs 3,470.09 a cylinder
OGRA's maximum LPG price for November 2026 is Rs 294.08 a kg, or Rs 3,470.09 for an 11.8 kg cylinder. That is Rs 14.74 a kg more than October's Rs 279.34, a rise of about 5.3 per cent, effective from 1 November 2026.
The price is a ceiling, not a fixed rate. OGRA's notification says the maximum applies at every level of the supply chain, from the producer to the shop. A seller may charge less. A seller may not charge more.
| Item | October 2026 | November 2026 | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price per kg | Rs 279.34 | Rs 294.08 | +Rs 14.74 |
| 11.8 kg cylinder | Rs 3,296.23 | Rs 3,470.09 | +Rs 173.86 |
| Price per tonne | Rs 279,341.49 | Rs 294,075.47 | +Rs 14,733.98 |
| Notification signed | 30 September 2026 | 31 October 2026 |
The change column is our arithmetic from OGRA's two notifications.

The producer price caused the whole rise
The whole November increase comes from the producer price, the cost of the LPG itself before levy and tax. It rose from Rs 197,061.08 to Rs 209,547.50 a tonne. Margins and the petroleum levy did not change at all.
Here is how OGRA builds the November cylinder price, line by line, as printed in the notification:
| Part of the price | Per tonne | Per 11.8 kg cylinder |
|---|---|---|
| Producer price (40% propane, 60% butane) | Rs 209,547.50 | Rs 2,472.66 |
| Petroleum levy | Rs 4,669.00 | Rs 55.09 |
| 18% GST on the two lines above | Rs 38,558.97 | Rs 455.00 |
| Marketing, distribution and transport margins | Rs 35,000 | Rs 413.00 |
| 18% GST on margins | Rs 6,300 | Rs 74.34 |
| Maximum consumer price | Rs 294,075.47 | Rs 3,470.09 |
The producer part of a cylinder went up by Rs 147.34, and the GST on it by Rs 26.53. Together they make up the Rs 173.86 rise, with one paisa lost to OGRA's rounding. The dealer's allowed margin is still Rs 17,000 a tonne for marketing, Rs 10,000 for distribution and Rs 8,000 for transport. OGRA's notification does not say why the producer price moved.
Every cylinder size has a new maximum price
OGRA prices only the 11.8 kg cylinder, but the Rs 294.08 a kg figure sets the ceiling for any size. Multiply the kg of gas by Rs 294.08. A 6 kg cylinder comes to Rs 1,764.48 and a 45.4 kg commercial cylinder to Rs 13,351.23.
| Cylinder size | Maximum price, November 2026 |
|---|---|
| 6 kg | Rs 1,764.48 |
| 11.8 kg (domestic) | Rs 3,470.09 (OGRA's own figure) |
| 15 kg | Rs 4,411.20 |
| 45.4 kg (commercial) | Rs 13,351.23 |
The 6, 15 and 45.4 kg figures are our multiplication. Multiplying 11.8 by Rs 294.08 gives Rs 3,470.14, five paisa more than OGRA's own cylinder figure, because OGRA rounds the per kg price. Use OGRA's Rs 3,470.09 for the standard domestic cylinder.

November is the fourth monthly rise since July
LPG has gone up every month since July 2026. The cylinder cap rose by Rs 152.01 in August, Rs 51.17 in September, Rs 244.14 in October and Rs 173.86 in November. November's Rs 3,470.09 is still below June's peak of Rs 3,643.41.
Over the whole year, the per kg price is up Rs 74.40 from January's Rs 219.68, by our calculation. The full month by month list, with every 2026 notification, is kept in LPG price 2026 for every month. October's breakdown is in LPG price for October 2026.

What to do if a shop charges more than OGRA's price
A shop that charges more than Rs 3,470.09 for an 11.8 kg cylinder in November is above OGRA's cap. You can report it to OGRA. Keep the receipt, note the shop's name and the brand, and complain with those details.
- Check the weight printed on the cylinder and work out its ceiling at Rs 294.08 a kg.
- Ask for a receipt that shows the price, date and the seller's name.
- Note the LPG brand. You can confirm the distributor on OGRA's authorised distributor list.
- File the complaint as set out in reporting LPG overcharging to OGRA, and keep the complaint number.
Shop prices in big cities have often sat above the cap. The government's weekly price survey for 17 cities is in the LPG cylinder price city list. A very cheap cylinder from an unknown filler is a different risk, and the checks to run before you connect one are in checking an LPG cylinder is safe.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read OGRA's Indigenous LPG Prices Notification for November, 2026 on OGRA's LPG Notified Prices page early on 1 November 2026. It is a scanned two page file: an office memorandum sending the notification to the Printing Corporation of Pakistan for the Gazette, and the notification itself, dated 31 October 2026 and effective 1 November 2026. We compared it with OGRA's October notification of 30 September 2026 from the same page. The changes, the July to November rise and the prices for other cylinder sizes are our arithmetic. OGRA does not give a reason for the producer price change, and we did not check shop prices ourselves.
