BPSC DMC and Recounting: Post Documents in 15 Days, Ask for Marks Within 1 Month
After a BPSC result, qualified candidates post documents within 15 days and others can ask for a DMC or recount within one month. See this week's exact dates.

After a BPSC written or MCQ result, you have two clocks. If you qualified, you must post your application form and verified documents to BPSC within 15 days of the press release. If you did not qualify, you can ask BPSC for your DMC (detailed marks certificate) or a recount within one month. After that, BPSC says no request "will be entertained".
The Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) prints both rules as Note I and Note II at the end of its result press releases. We read the two latest, dated 3 and 4 November 2026, on bpsc.gob.pk on 5 November. Both carry the same two notes. This guide turns them into a plan, with the dates for this week's results worked out.
Two deadlines start the day BPSC issues the press release
BPSC counts both deadlines from "the issuance of this Press Release". That is the date printed at the top, not the day you saw it. BPSC does not print the end dates, so count them yourself.
| Your result | What BPSC wants | Time allowed |
|---|---|---|
| Qualified for viva voce | Application form and all verified documents, by post | 15 days |
| Not qualified | Request for DMC or recounting of your paper | One month |
| Qualified for viva voce | Wait for the interview date | BPSC notifies later |
For the two results this week, that gives these dates. They are our count, not BPSC's.
| Result | Release date | Documents by (15 days) | DMC or recount by (1 month) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Health Management Cadre BS-18 and Electric Inspector of Mines BS-17 | 3 November 2026 | 18 November 2026 | 3 December 2026 |
| Lecturer posts, Advertisement 01/2026 | 4 November 2026 | 19 November 2026 | 4 December 2026 |

Post your documents within 15 days if you qualified
Note I says the qualified candidates must send their application forms "alongwith all the requisite verified documents" as listed in the advertisement, "through postal services", within 15 days. Incomplete forms and unverified documents "will be rejected straightaway".
- Open the press release on bpsc.gob.pk under Result and check your roll number in the right list.
- Open the advertisement number named in Note I and read its list of required documents.
- Print your application form. It should match what you filled online.
- Get attested copies of every document: CNIC, domicile, degrees, DMCs and experience certificates if asked.
- Post the full set to BPSC, Samungli Road, Quetta Cantt, by registered post or courier, and keep the receipt.
Read Note I carefully. On 3 November the documents had to match Advertisements 02/2026 and 03/2026. On 4 November it was Advertisement 01/2026. A wrong list can cost you the interview.

Qualifying is provisional, so check your eligibility again
Every BPSC result says candidates sat the test provisionally. Only those "found fully eligible at the time of interview" will be interviewed, strictly under the advertisement and the service rules. So the document check is where BPSC finds problems.
Before you post anything, check the three most common problems: age on the closing date, a degree finished after the closing date, and domicile. Our guides to the BPSC age rule and BPSC degree rules explain each one. BPSC has also warned, since July 2022, that applying without the required qualification, experience, gender, religion or domicile "may cause serious difficulty for applicant in future".
Ask for a DMC or recount within one month if you did not qualify
Note II says unsuccessful candidates "may approach this Commission" for their DMC or a recounting of their paper within one month. The release does not give a fee, a form or an email address for this. It says only "approach this Commission".
In practice, that means a written application to BPSC in Quetta. Put in your name, father's name, CNIC, roll number, the post, the advertisement number and the date of the result. Say clearly whether you want the DMC, a recount, or both. Keep a copy and the postal receipt, so you can prove you applied inside the month.
- DMC shows your marks. It helps you see how close you came.
- Recounting means BPSC adds up your marks again. BPSC's note does not say it includes marking your answers again.
Keep your fee proof and your profile ready
BPSC has told candidates not to send the bank challan or treasury receipt to BPSC. You must keep it safe and show it at the exam. It has also asked candidates to complete their online profile with degrees and DMCs uploaded before applying. Since 5 May 2026, fees can be paid online through 1Link banking channels. Our guide to paying job test fees by PSID explains how.
BPSC also says all its exams are currently held in Quetta city only, so choose Quetta when you apply. For open posts, see Advertisement 09/2026 with 250 posts.
Common questions
How do I get my BPSC DMC?
Apply to BPSC within one month of the result press release. BPSC's notes say unsuccessful candidates may approach the Commission for their DMC.

Yes, within one month of the press release. After that, BPSC says no request will be heard.
How many days do I have to send documents to BPSC?

Should I send my bank challan to BPSC?

Not yet. BPSC interviews only candidates found fully eligible at the time of interview.

How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read BPSC's press releases of 3 November 2026 (No. PSC-2026/E-Result/2302-2308) and 4 November 2026 (No. PSC-2026/E-Result/2309-14), and the notices on the bpsc.gob.pk home page, on 5 November 2026. BPSC gives no fee or form for a DMC or recount in these releases; we have not asked BPSC by phone. See our reports on the Lecturer result and the Health Management Cadre result.
