Which BISP Links Work in Pakistan: We Tested 8 on 14 October 2026
We tested 8 BISP web links on 14 October 2026. Four loaded, including the 8171 checker. Four failed. See each result and what to use when a link is down.

On 14 October 2026 we tested eight web addresses tied to BISP. Four loaded: the 8171 web checker at 8171.bisp.gov.pk, the Benazir Hunarmand portal, the Kafaalat leaflet and the campsite file. Four failed: 8171.pass.gov.pk, the NSER centres page, the Kafaalat Portal and the Beneficiaries Portal. Use the 8171 SMS or your tehsil office when a link fails.
People search for these links every week, and BISP's pages still list some that did not open for us. We loaded each address from one connection in Pakistan between 4:40 pm and 4:55 pm PKT. A failure can be short, so try again later before you give up. We did not enter a CNIC on any page.
Four BISP links loaded on 14 October
The 8171 web checker at 8171.bisp.gov.pk answered with a normal page. The Benazir Hunarmand portal and the Kafaalat registration leaflet also opened. The campsite file opened too, but its name carries a date of 28 September 2021, so it is a list from 2021, not today.
| Link | What it is for | Result on 14 October |
|---|---|---|
| 8171.bisp.gov.pk | Web checker for 8171 | Loaded |
| hunarmand.bisp.gov.pk | Benazir Hunarmand portal | Loaded |
| Kafaalat registration leaflet (PDF) | How to check and receive payment | Loaded |
| Active campsites file | List of payment camp sites | Loaded, dated 28 September 2021 |
| 8171.pass.gov.pk | Web checker named in the NSER leaflet | No connection after 21 seconds |
| NSER Registration Centers | List of survey centres on nser.nadra.gov.pk | Host name not found |
| uctdashboard.bisp.gov.pk | Kafaalat Portal | 404 Not Found |
| dli7.bisp.gov.pk | BISP Beneficiaries Portal | 500 runtime error |
Loading is not the same as working. We confirmed that each page opened, not that each gives a correct answer. For a cleaner look at the 8171 pages, see our earlier test of every Ehsaas and 8171 link.

Four links failed, three of them listed on BISP's own homepage
The Kafaalat Portal and the BISP Beneficiaries Portal are both listed under Portals on the BISP homepage. The first returned 404 Not Found. The second returned a server runtime error after about 16 seconds. The NSER Registration Centers link on the same list did not resolve.
The fourth failure, 8171.pass.gov.pk, is named in BISP's NSER registration leaflet as the place to check survey eligibility. Our connection to it timed out after 21 seconds.
We are not saying these services are closed. A portal can be down for a day, or blocked from some networks. We are saying that a reader following BISP's pages today may hit a dead end. If you do, the checks below still work.

Use the SMS and the tehsil office when a link fails
BISP's leaflet gives a route that needs no website. Send your CNIC number as an SMS to 8171 for the eligibility reply. If there is no record, any adult in the household can visit the Benazir registration desk at the BISP Tehsil Office for a survey.
- Send your CNIC number to 8171 and read the reply.
- If the web checker loads, type the address 8171.bisp.gov.pk yourself and use the CNIC box there.
- If a link fails, wait a day and try again from a different network.
- If it still fails, visit the Benazir registration desk at your BISP Tehsil Office.
- For payment problems, call the toll free helpline 0800-26477.
Our guide to checking your BISP payment and eligibility on 8171 covers the reply messages, and the steps for a payment problem are in how to complain about a BISP payment problem.

Type the address yourself to avoid lookalike sites
Search results for BISP are full of sites that look official but are not. Type the address yourself, starting from bisp.gov.pk, and never enter your CNIC on a page you reached from a message or an advert. The BISP site is the one that lists the links above.
Scams around the programme are common. Our report on a scam using the Kafaalat and Benazir names shows the pattern. For skills training, the real portal is in the guide to registering for BISP's Benazir Hunarmand Programme.
Common questions about BISP links and portals
Which BISP website checks my eligibility?
The 8171 web checker at 8171.bisp.gov.pk loaded for us on 14 October 2026. You can also SMS your CNIC number to 8171. We did not enter a CNIC, so we cannot judge the replies.
Why does 8171.pass.gov.pk not open?
Our connection to it timed out after 21 seconds on 14 October 2026. We do not know the reason. It may be down or blocked on some networks. Try again later and use the SMS if it still fails.
Is the Kafaalat Portal on the BISP homepage working?
Not for us. The link on the BISP homepage returned 404 Not Found on 14 October 2026. We do not know if a new address exists, so ask the Tehsil Office.
Is the Benazir Hunarmand portal working?
Yes, hunarmand.bisp.gov.pk loaded for us on 14 October 2026. We did not register, so we cannot comment on how its forms behave.
How do I know a BISP website is real?
Start at bisp.gov.pk and use only the links listed there, or type the address yourself. Official Pakistani government addresses end in gov.pk. Do not enter your CNIC on pages from unknown messages.
Can I check BISP without a website?
Yes. Send your CNIC number as an SMS to 8171, or call 0800-26477, or visit the Benazir registration desk at the Tehsil Office. Those routes are in BISP's own leaflets.
How we verified this
What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
Last checked 14 October 2026, between 4:40 pm and 4:55 pm PKT, from one connection in Pakistan. The link list comes from the BISP homepage. The 8171 and tehsil desk routes come from BISP's Kafaalat registration leaflet and NSER registration leaflet. We tested whether pages opened, not what they answer. The results can change quickly.
