An Easypaisa debit card costs Rs 1,000 including tax to issue for the Visa and PayPak cards, Rs 999 for UnionPay and Rs 500 for the virtual Visa Online card, according to Easypaisa Bank's schedule of charges for October to December 2026. A replacement card is Rs 500. Cash withdrawals cost Rs 35 at any other bank's ATM and nothing at Easypaisa Bank's own ATMs, and the card works only inside Pakistan.

We read the schedule, the debit card page and the FAQ page on easypaisa.com.pk on 19 October 2026. Easypaisa Bank, the microfinance bank that used to be called Telenor Microfinance Bank, publishes its charges every quarter. Those three pages are the source for every figure below, and the few things they do not say are flagged.

Easypaisa offers four debit cards and prices them from Rs 500 to Rs 1,000

The schedule lists a Visa debit card at Rs 1,000, a UnionPay card at Rs 999, a PayPak card at Rs 1,000 and a Visa Online debit card at Rs 500, all including tax. The first three are plastic chip and PIN cards. The Visa Online card is virtual and is for online shopping only.

PayPak is Pakistan's domestic card scheme run by 1-Link, so a PayPak card works at ATMs and shops in Pakistan but not on foreign websites. UnionPay and Visa are international schemes, but Easypaisa's FAQ says plainly that the card can only be used across Pakistan. So the scheme choice does not buy you foreign spending on this card.

The FAQ describes the Visa Online card as a digital stored-value card for domestic e-commerce purchases, generated instantly in the app. If you need a card for a foreign subscription or an app store, the options in the guide to virtual dollar cards in Pakistan are the ones to compare.

The schedule prices issuance, but no annual fee is stated

The October to December 2026 schedule shows an issuance fee for each card and a Rs 500 replacement fee. It does not list an annual or renewal fee. The FAQ has a question titled "What is the annual fee", but the answer under it describes the card's benefits instead of a number.

We cannot say from the bank's pages whether a yearly charge exists. That matters because the rival wallet charges one: the JazzCash debit card fees are Rs 999 to issue a PayPak card plus Rs 299 a year, and Rs 99 a year on its Mastercard. Under SBP's consumer rules, a bank may only charge a debit card annual fee after the card is activated, so ask Easypaisa in writing before you order if a yearly charge is your concern.

A separate line applies to Zen Premium customers. The schedule lists a Visa Platinum card with a Rs 2,000 monthly charge, applied to premium users who do not maintain the balance for 30 days. The Zen balance threshold is Rs 250,000. Keep the balance and the charge does not apply; drop below it for a month and Rs 2,000 goes.

How to order the card and set its PIN in the app or by USSD

Log in to the Easypaisa app, tap My Account, then Order new debit card. When the card arrives, open Manage Card under the plastic card section, enter the last four digits of the card and set a new PIN. Telenor customers can also do it by dialling *786#.

  1. Open the Easypaisa app and log in with your 5 digit PIN.
  2. Tap My Account, then Order new debit card, and choose Visa, UnionPay or PayPak. Pay the issuance fee from your balance.
  3. When the card arrives, scroll to Get your easypaisa Debit Card on the main page and tap Manage Card.
  4. Enter the last four digits of the card, then enter and re-enter a new PIN.
  5. By USSD on Telenor, dial *786#, press 6 for My Account, 5 for easypaisa Debit Card, 2 for Create Debit Card PIN, then enter the new PIN twice and your Easypaisa PIN.

The FAQ says the card works on more than 16,000 ATMs and over 90,000 point of sale terminals across Pakistan. To change the PIN later, use Manage Debit Card in the app, the Change PIN option at an Easypaisa Bank ATM, or USSD. The card is issued against your Easypaisa account, so it draws on the same balance and the same daily limits, which rise when you upgrade your Easypaisa account level.

Withdraw at an Easypaisa Bank ATM to pay nothing, or Rs 35 anywhere else

The schedule sets a flat Rs 35 for any ATM withdrawal, including tax and 1-Link charges, and says withdrawals are free at Easypaisa Bank's own branch ATMs. A balance check or a printed receipt at an ATM costs Rs 4.67 each. Cash deposits and withdrawals at Easypaisa branches are free for digital accounts.

Compare that with the agent route. The same schedule charges Rs 7 for a withdrawal of up to Rs 200 at an agent, rising by slab to Rs 690 for Rs 40,001 to Rs 50,000. For any amount above about Rs 2,500, the card at an ATM is cheaper than an agent. The full slab table is in the guide to JazzCash and Easypaisa charges.

Two more lines on the sheet are worth knowing. Non-filers pay 0.8 per cent withholding tax when their withdrawals pass Rs 50,000 in a day, calculated on the full day's amount across branch and ATM; the schedule calls this a statutory tax, not an Easypaisa fee. And the interbank fee that 1-Link sets applies to the Rs 35, so if that fee moves, the Rs 35 can move in the next quarterly sheet.

Steps to order an Easypaisa debit card and set the PIN in the app

Block a lost card in the app, and never share the card data

If the card is lost or stolen, block it at once in the Easypaisa app, by calling the helpline, or by USSD, then order a replacement for Rs 500. The FAQ says never to share card data with anyone, and that the EMV chip makes the card hard to copy.

The helpline is 3737 from a Telenor number and 042 111 003737 from any other network. A caller who asks for your card number, PIN or an OTP to "verify" a block is not Easypaisa; the pattern is described in the guide to a fake bank call from a spoofed number. If money leaves the card after a fraud, the SBP rules on digital fraud refunds set the deadlines for the bank to respond.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked 19 October 2026. Issuance fees, the replacement fee, ATM charges, the Zen Premium line and the non-filer tax note come from Easypaisa Bank's schedule of bank charges for branchless banking, October to December 2026. The ordering and PIN steps, the ATM and POS counts, the Pakistan-only rule and the lost card advice come from the Easypaisa FAQ page and its debit cards page, all read on 19 October 2026. We did not order a card, so delivery time and the exact screens in the current app version are not verified, and the bank's pages do not state an annual fee.
