Short answer: Four airlines fly or list Quetta: Serene Air, AirSial, Fly Jinnah and PIA. Serene Air's own site showed a starting economy fare of Rs 13,525 to Quetta on 19 October 2026, the lowest "from" fare on its domestic network. AirSial lists Quetta among its ten destinations, and its daily Islamabad to Quetta service was announced for 25 October 2026, though the airline's site did not yet carry a schedule for it when we checked. PIA's Quetta flights could not be confirmed on its site, which blocked our reading.

We read sereneair.com and airsial.com on 19 October 2026. Quetta's airport is the only commercial airport in Balochistan's capital, and with the rail link through Bolan running on a limited timetable and the road from Sukkur taking a full day, the flight is the practical way in for most travellers. Fares are "from" prices that move with the date, so treat the figures here as the floor, not the ticket you will pay on a Friday.

Serene Air lists Quetta from Rs 13,525

On its home page Serene Air shows a starting economy fare for each destination. On 19 October 2026 Quetta was Rs 13,525, below Peshawar at Rs 15,525, Lahore at Rs 16,525 and Karachi and Islamabad at Rs 17,025. The airline flies Boeing 737 aircraft on domestic routes. The page does not say which city the Quetta fare departs from.

Serene Air starting domestic fares on 19 October 2026: Quetta Rs 13,525, Peshawar Rs 15,525, Lahore Rs 16,525, Karachi and Islamabad Rs 17,025

A Rs 13,525 fare on Serene Air carries 20 kg of checked baggage and 7 kg of hand carry on the basic bundle, with excess charged at Rs 150 a kilogram, under the Serene Air baggage allowance. Cancelling it costs Rs 3,500 more than 4 hours before departure and Rs 5,000 after that, under the airline's refund and change fees. So the cheap fare is cheap only if you fly it.

Serene Air destinationEconomy from, 19 October 2026
QuettaRs 13,525
PeshawarRs 15,525
LahoreRs 16,525
KarachiRs 17,025

AirSial lists Quetta and a daily Islamabad flight is announced for 25 October

AirSial's destinations page lists Sialkot, Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta inside Pakistan, and Jeddah, Madinah, Dammam and Muscat abroad. A daily Islamabad to Quetta flight from 25 October 2026 was announced in early October, but the airline's schedule section showed no sectors or times when we read it on 19 October, so the start date and timings are reported rather than confirmed on the airline's own page.

Airlines listing Quetta: Serene Air with a Rs 13,525 starting fare, AirSial with a daily Islamabad flight announced for 25 October, PIA unconfirmed

AirSial's baggage, refund and helpline rules are set out in the AirSial booking, baggage and refund details. If the Islamabad service starts as announced it adds a second private carrier on the capital to Quetta link, which matters for government and NGO traffic that has had to book PIA or route through Karachi when Fly Jinnah's seats run out.

Fly Jinnah flies Quetta and PIA could not be confirmed

Fly Jinnah flies domestic routes between Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta, and its three fare types, Basic, Value and Ultimate, decide the baggage and change rules you get, as set out in the Fly Jinnah fare type comparison. Its Quetta fares for a given date are on its own booking engine and were not read for this page.

PIA has historically been the main carrier into Quetta from Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore. Its website blocked our reading on 19 October 2026 with a security check, so we cannot state its current Quetta schedule or fares. Treat any PIA frequency you see quoted elsewhere as unconfirmed until it appears on piac.com.pk or in the PIA app. PIA's discount for passengers with a special CNIC, explained in the disabled passenger flight discount rules, applies on its domestic routes.

Book early in the week and watch the baggage bundle

The starting fares are the cheapest seats on the cheapest days. Quetta's traffic peaks around weekends, public holidays and the start and end of the university terms, when the "from" fare disappears first. Booking a week or more ahead for a midweek flight is the realistic way to see the Rs 13,525 figure.

  1. Check Serene Air's and AirSial's own booking engines for your date, not a fare aggregator, because the starting fares are published by the airlines themselves.
  2. Compare the fare including the baggage bundle you need. A 20 kg fare plus Rs 150 a kilogram of excess can cost more than the next bundle up.
  3. Look at the cancellation charge before paying. On Serene Air a no-show forfeits Rs 5,000 of a domestic fare.
  4. Carry your original CNIC. Every airline checks photo identity at the counter, and Quetta's airport security does a second check.
  5. Arrive early for the return. A missed flight on a cheap fare is charged at the no-show rate, which on Serene Air is Rs 5,000.
Five steps to book the cheapest flight to Quetta from Islamabad, Karachi or Lahore

Getting around once you land

Taxis and ride hailing cars wait outside arrivals at Quetta's airport, and the fare into the city is agreed before you get in, because metered taxis are rare. The city's new Jinnah Metro train service runs on a single corridor, so check its stations against where you are staying before relying on it. If you plan to drive in Balochistan, the Balochistan driving licence process in Quetta explains what the local licensing office asks for.

For onward travel to Chaman, Ziarat or the coast, most intercity coaches leave Quetta in the morning. Flying in on an evening flight therefore usually means a night in the city before the onward leg, which is worth building into a cheap fare's real cost.
