Apply for Learner License Online in Punjab

1. Visit DLIMS Website

Go to the official Driving License Issuance Management System (DLIMS) portal:

2. Register Account

Click Sign Up and register using:

  • CNIC number (without dashes)
  • Name
  • Mobile number
  • Email address
  • Password

Tip: Do not forget password, needed later to access portal in future.

3. Login and Apply for Learner License

Once registered, log in to account. On the dashboard:

  1. Click “License”
  2. Select “Apply for Learner”

4. Enter Personal Details

Fill in required information carefully:

  • CNIC number
  • Name
  • Father/Husband’s name
  • Date of Birth
  • Address
  • Blood Group
  • District and Tehsil

Important: Enter details exactly as per CNIC to avoid rejection.

5. Select License Type

Choose the type of vehicle applying for:

  • Motorcycle/Motor Car (Age: 18+)
  • LTV/Rickshaw/Tractor Commercial (Age: 21+)
  • HTV (Age: 23+)

Note: Select more than one vehiche type, Rs. 500 per category.

6. Upload Required Documents

Upload the following documents:

  • Passport-size photograph (Max 500 KB)
  • Front and back of CNIC (Max 500 KB each)

Important: Make sure images are clear and in JPG/PNG format.

7. Generate and Pay PSID

After submitting the form:

  • PSID (Payment Slip ID) will be generated.
  • Pay fee (Rs. 500 per vehicle type) via:
    • JazzCash
    • EasyPaisa
    • Bank app (HBL, UBL, Meezan, etc.)

Once paid, the system confirms payment and issues learner’s license instantly.

Download Learner’s License Online in Punjab

After successful payment:

  • Download and print learner’s license from the DLIMS portal.
  • It includes driving test date, 42 days from issue date.

The printed learner license is 100% valid and can be shown to traffic police or used for driving test entry.
