NADRA's own website lists 977 registration centres inside Pakistan, 15 mega centres, 10 centres abroad, 237 mobile registration vans and 78 manpacks. Its count of registered people stood at 223,368,118 on 31 August 2026. For a quick CNIC job, the nearest registration centre is the usual choice. A van or a booked slot can save a trip.

We read the home page of id.nadra.gov.pk on 14 October 2026. Its figures carry the note "Updated on: 31-08-2026". The page does not give a list of centre addresses, so this article shows what each kind of service point is for and where to find yours.

NADRA's statistics panel shows 977 inland registration centres, 10 centres abroad, 15 mega centres, 237 mobile registration vans and 78 manpacks. It also shows more than 24,000 employees. The panel was last updated on 31 August 2026.

The page does not define a manpack. We do not guess its use. NADRA's home page links a schedule for the vans, listed as "MRV Schedule", and a "Find Nearest NRC" button for registration centres. NRC means NADRA registration centre.

223 million people are registered with NADRA

NADRA's panel shows 223,368,118 people registered. Of these, 116,208,750 are male and 107,159,368 are female. The two add up to the total. A second line, which counts NADRA and CRMS records together, shows 256,452,980.

CRMS is not explained on the page. The difference between the two totals is 33,084,862, which is our own arithmetic. Women are about 48 per cent of the registered total on NADRA's figures, and men are about 52 per cent. The gap is 9,049,382 people, also our arithmetic.

These are NADRA's own figures and we have not checked them against another source. They count registered people, not valid cards, so they do not tell you how many CNICs have expired. For card validity, see when your CNIC, juvenile card or CRC expires.

Pick the service point that matches your job

For a routine job, such as a CNIC or a B-form, go to the nearest registration centre. For a crowded city, a mega centre often has more counters. If you cannot travel, ask about a van or a home visit instead.

Mega centres are the larger sites. The list of NADRA mega centres with timings gives addresses for all of them. If you live in a village, the van route may be nearer, and our guide to the NADRA mobile registration van explains how to find the stop.

Women who prefer a women-only site can use the NADRA female centres and desks. A person who cannot leave home because of illness or disability has the doorstep service through the 1777 helpline.

Use the PakID app to find a centre and book

NADRA's home page offers a Find Nearest NRC button and a PakID mobile app for identity registration, updates and service tracking. Use them before you travel. You can then book a slot and avoid the longest queues.

  1. Open id.nadra.gov.pk or the PakID app.
  2. Press Find Nearest NRC and pick your city.
  3. Check the centre's address and the services it offers.
  4. Book an appointment if the app offers a slot, as set out in how to book a NADRA appointment online.
  5. Carry your original documents and pay the fee listed on NADRA's fee page.

NADRA's fees change, and the NADRA fee structure for all documents tracks them. The home page also lists a Fee Structure link and Payment Guidelines. Use those for the final number.

Call 1777 or file a complaint if a centre fails you

NADRA's home page lists the helpline 1777, with timings shown as 24/7, and a complaint email, csd@nadra.gov.pk. It also links a complaint page at complaints.nadra.gov.pk. Use these when a centre refuses a service you are entitled to.

For what to write and what to expect, see the guide to complaining to NADRA. Keep the token number, the date and the centre name with you when you call.

How we verified this

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.

Last checked 14 October 2026. Every centre count, registration figure, helpline and complaint contact comes from id.nadra.gov.pk, which we read through a text reader. The page does not list addresses or define manpacks or CRMS. The male and female shares, and the gap between the two totals, are our own arithmetic. Check the NADRA site for the current figures.
