Short answer: Petrol costs Rs 352.59 a litre in Pakistan on Friday, 6 November 2026. That is Rs 9.41 less than on 5 November and Rs 25.32 less than on 31 October. High speed diesel is Rs 382.25 a litre, down Rs 5.56 in a day and Rs 20.71 since 31 October.
These are the petrol price today figures on the daily sheet of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), "Effective November 06, 2026, 00:00 hours". OGRA is the regulator that works out the price each day. We read the sheet line by line and compared it with the sheet for 5 November. This is the fourth cut in a row for both fuels, and the biggest one so far.
Petrol falls to Rs 352.59 and diesel to Rs 382.25
Both fuels fell more on 6 November than on any sheet since 31 October. Petrol fell Rs 9.41 and diesel Rs 5.56. Petrol has now lost Rs 25.32 a litre in four sheets.

| Sheet date | Petrol, Rs a litre | Diesel, Rs a litre | Diesel minus petrol |
|---|---|---|---|
| 31 October | 377.91 | 402.96 | 25.05 |
| 3 November | 374.51, down 3.40 | 395.20, down 7.76 | 20.69 |
| 4 November | 369.06, down 5.45 | 391.52, down 3.68 | 22.46 |
| 5 November | 362.00, down 7.06 | 387.81, down 3.71 | 25.81 |
| 6 November | 352.59, down 9.41 | 382.25, down 5.56 | 29.66 |
| Change since 31 October | down 25.32 | down 20.71 |
Yesterday's figures are in the 5 November petrol price, and the Aramco premium change that cut diesel earlier in the week is in the 4 November petrol price. The 31 October prices are the starting point for this fall, and every earlier October price is in the October list of OGRA daily prices.
Petrol fell Rs 9.41 as the Gulf petrol average dropped by $5.51
Petrol follows the Arab Gulf price for 92 RON petrol. OGRA uses the average of the last seven working days. That average fell from $111.45 a barrel on 5 November to $105.94 on 6 November, a drop of $5.51. The freight premium went up a little, from $25.52 to $25.67.
- 5 November: Gulf petrol $111.45 plus premium $25.52 gave $136.97 a barrel. The landed cost at Karachi was Rs 239.59 a litre, and the pump price Rs 362.00.
- 6 November: Gulf petrol $105.94 plus premium $25.67 gave $131.61 a barrel, $5.36 less. The landed cost fell to Rs 230.15 a litre.
- Small changes after landing: the exchange rate adjustment rose from Rs 0.62 to Rs 0.75, and customs duty fell from Rs 26.15 to Rs 26.04. The two almost cancel out.
- The pump price: the import price fell Rs 9.41, margins and levies did not change, so the pump price fell the same Rs 9.41, to Rs 352.59.
At OGRA's rate of Rs 276.87 to the dollar, $1 a barrel is about Rs 1.74 a litre. So a $5.36 fall in the total dollar cost is worth about Rs 9.33 a litre, close to the cut on the sheet. The sheet also shows a small ocean gain of Rs 0.08 a litre, meaning slightly more petrol arrived than was loaded.
The inland freight margin, which spreads transport costs so the price is the same across the country, stayed at Rs 7.51. The oil company margin of Rs 7.87 and the dealer margin of Rs 9.98 did not change.
Diesel fell Rs 5.56 as Dubai crude dropped by $3.18
Diesel follows a different formula. It starts from the seven day average of Dubai crude, adds Saudi Aramco's monthly premium, a fixed freight cost and a fixed diesel "crack", the gap between diesel and crude. Only the Dubai crude line moved on 6 November.
| Diesel item, $ a barrel | 5 November | 6 November |
|---|---|---|
| Dubai crude, 7 day average | 110.08 | 106.90 |
| Aramco premium | minus 4.50 | minus 4.50 |
| Freight and insurance | 8.00 | 8.00 |
| Diesel crack | 38.00 | 38.00 |
| Total cost and freight | 151.58 | 148.40 |
Dubai crude fell $3.18 a barrel, worth about Rs 5.54 a litre. The cost of diesel at Karachi went from Rs 264.20 to Rs 258.64 a litre, and the whole Rs 5.56 fall reached the pump. Customs on diesel stayed at Rs 15.68. How the crack works is explained in the diesel price formula.

Because petrol fell more than diesel again, the gap between the two fuels widened from Rs 25.81 to Rs 29.66 a litre. That is the widest gap on any sheet since 31 October.
The petrol levy split is still in place
Petrol still carries a petroleum levy of Rs 80.00 a litre, but only Rs 65.29 is charged at the pump. The other Rs 14.71 is paid by refineries, the same split that began on 31 October. Diesel carries the full Rs 80.00. Both fuels pay a Rs 5.00 climate support levy, and neither pays sales tax.
| 6 November 2026, Rs a litre | Petrol | Diesel |
|---|---|---|
| Price before levies | 282.30 | 297.25 |
| Petroleum levy charged | 65.29 | 80.00 |
| Climate support levy | 5.00 | 5.00 |
| Sales tax | 0.00 | 0.00 |
| Pump price | 352.59 | 382.25 |
Levies and customs together are Rs 96.33 on a litre of petrol, about 27 per cent of the price. On diesel they are Rs 100.68, about 26 per cent. The levies are fixed in rupees, so as the price falls they become a bigger share of it. The full tax picture is in the tax in your petrol bill.

What a fill costs on 6 November 2026
A 10 litre petrol fill now costs Rs 3,525.90, which is Rs 94.10 less than on 5 November and Rs 253.20 less than on 31 October. A 50 litre diesel fill costs Rs 19,112.50, a saving of Rs 1,035.50 since 31 October. Rs 1,000 now buys 2.84 litres of petrol, up from 2.76 litres on 5 November.
| Fill | 6 November cost | Saving since 31 October |
|---|---|---|
| Motorbike, 5 litres petrol | Rs 1,762.95 | Rs 126.60 |
| Car, 10 litres petrol | Rs 3,525.90 | Rs 253.20 |
| Car, 40 litres petrol | Rs 14,103.60 | Rs 1,012.80 |
| 10 litres diesel | Rs 3,822.50 | Rs 207.10 |
| Truck, 50 litres diesel | Rs 19,112.50 | Rs 1,035.50 |
Your pump may charge a little more than these figures. OGRA's price excludes "secondary freight", the cost of carrying fuel from the depot to each pump, and that varies by location.

Where we checked, and what comes next
We read the sheet "Effective Dated November 06, 2026" on OGRA's price publications page on the evening of 5 November, and checked every line against the 5 November sheet. We also checked the Petroleum Division home page at the same time. Its latest price release was still for 30 October, and it had not posted releases for 3 to 6 November.
OGRA's sheet says the full effect of a change in world prices passes to the pump over seven working days. That is why prices move a little each day instead of jumping once. The seven day averages are still falling, so more small cuts are possible if world prices stay low, but nobody can promise that. No sheet for 7 November was posted when we checked.

What we checked, where we read it, and what we could not confirm.
We read OGRA's price publications page and the daily sheets for 5 and 6 November 2026 on the evening of 5 November 2026 (PKT). We also checked the Petroleum Division home page, which had no release for 3 to 6 November at that time. Fill costs and the rupee value of $1 a barrel are our own arithmetic from OGRA's figures.
