TESCO Bill Check Online for Tribal Districts of KP, Free Duplicate Bill
Check a TESCO bill online with the 14 digit reference number and print a free duplicate. We tested the portal for KP tribal districts and read TESCO's numbers.

To check a TESCO bill online, open bill.pitc.com.pk/tescobill, type the 14 digit reference number from an old bill, fill the captcha and press Search. The bill opens free, and the printout works as a duplicate bill. TESCO's head office in Peshawar lists 091 9212006 and 091 9212987.
We opened the TESCO bill page on 28 September 2026 and it loaded, titled TESCO Web Bill. We also read TESCO's own website, tesco.gov.pk, which loaded. The address tesco.com.pk, still shared in many places, did not load at all.
TESCO is the Tribal Areas Electric Supply Company. It supplies power in the tribal districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the areas once called FATA, from Bajaur down to South Waziristan. A TESCO bill check online saves a trip to Peshawar, where the head office sits.
How to check your TESCO bill online
Open bill.pitc.com.pk/tescobill, keep the Reference No option, type the 14 digit number, fill the captcha and press Search. There is no login, no app and no fee. PITC, the state company that runs billing for most government power companies, hosts the page.

- Open bill.pitc.com.pk/tescobill. TESCO's homepage links here under Duplicate Bill.
- Leave the choice on Reference No. It is already selected when the page opens.
- Type the reference number. The box reads "Enter 14-digit valid reference no" and stops at 14 characters.
- Fill the captcha. The search will not run without it.
- Press Search. The bill appears. Print it or save it as a PDF.
The reference number is printed near the top of the bill. Type the digits only. Spaces and dashes copied from a phone photo are the usual reason a search fails.
The form also has a Customer ID option, for when the reference number is torn or faded. We read the page code: the box accepts only digits, 10 to 14 of them, and shows "Given Ref/App No is invalid" for anything else. A small drop-down beside it shows U and R, which the page does not explain.
TESCO's name and status in 2026
TESCO still runs as a separate power company in 2026, not as part of PESCO. NEPRA, the power regulator, keeps a separate TESCO tariff page with decisions dated as late as 7 September 2026. TESCO's own site calls it the Tribal Areas Electric Supply Company.
The name is not spelled the same way everywhere. NEPRA's decisions say Tribal Areas Electricity Supply Company Limited, and its tariff page heading says Tribal Electric Supply Company. All three mean the same company, TESCO.
TESCO's What We Do page says it was set up in August 2004 and serves "the erstwhile tribal Agencies and FRs". Those areas became districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 2018. TESCO kept supplying them, and its page now uses the words tribal districts too.
NEPRA's licence page still lists the old names. It says licence 22/DL/2013 covers Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Kurram, North Waziristan and South Waziristan, plus the Frontier Regions of Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, Lakki, Tank and Dera Ismail Khan.
TESCO helpline and complaint numbers
TESCO's contact page lists 091 9212006 and 091 9212987 at its head office in WAPDA House, Peshawar. Its complaint page names two more customer centres in Peshawar. TESCO's homepage also links the PITC online complaint system, which names 118 as its helpline.

| Need | Where to go | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Head office | 091 9212006, 091 9212987 | TESCO contact page |
| Circle customer centre, Danish Abad | 091 9218082 | TESCO Complaint Redressal page |
| Revenue office centre, Hayatabad | 091 5817581 | TESCO Complaint Redressal page |
| Online complaint | ccms.pitc.com.pk/complaint | TESCO homepage link |
| Helpline | 118 | PITC complaint page |
The Danish Abad centre is at the grid station in Peshawar. The Hayatabad centre is in the Industrial Estate. We did not ring any of these numbers, so we cannot say which answers fastest.
For a billing dispute, the online complaint form is the better route because it gives a ticket number. It finds your account by the 14 digit reference number or a 12 digit mobile number starting with 92, and has a Track by Ticket option.
The same PITC page warns never to pay for a bill, meter, repair or connection by mobile wallet or bank transfer to a person's own account. If someone asks for that, report it on 118.
One odd thing: when we opened TESCO's contact page, it also showed two unrelated links in a foreign language. Ignore anything on the page that is not about TESCO.
Getting a TESCO duplicate bill and paying it
The bill the portal shows is your duplicate bill. Print or save it, then pay at a bank or counter, or pay online through a bank app or mobile wallet with the 14 digit reference number. Pay before the due date, since a late payment surcharge is added after it.
- Bank app or internet banking: open the electricity bill menu, pick TESCO and enter the reference number.
- Mobile wallet: use the bill payment menu with the same number.
- Bank counter: take the printed bill from the portal.
No separate office or fee is needed for a copy. The printout is accepted across the electricity bill check online system. The steps for each payment route are in paying utility bills online. We did not make a test payment.
TESCO's homepage also links a Know Your Consumer registration at mnr.pitc.com.pk. Owners and tenants can register a CNIC and mobile number against the connection there, which helps messages about your supply reach the right phone.
Fixing a wrong TESCO bill
Check the units, then the reading dates, then the taxes. If the units look wrong, complain on CCMS or at a TESCO customer centre before the due date and keep the ticket number. If the meter seems fast, ask for a meter test.

Many lines on the bill are not electricity. Fuel adjustments, taxes and fixed charges repeat monthly, and the bill line items are worth learning once.
Take a dated photo of the meter before you complain. If TESCO does not correct the bill, a complaint to NEPRA is the next step. NEPRA's rules also set the fee and time limit for a faulty meter test.
TESCO or PESCO: which company bills you
TESCO bills the tribal districts. PESCO bills the settled districts such as Peshawar, Mardan, Swat and Bannu. If you live near the line between them, the company name printed at the top of your bill decides which portal to use.
Both use the same PITC system, so the PESCO bill opens the same way with pescobill in the address. The pattern repeats for every state company, from QESCO in Balochistan to SEPCO in upper Sindh.
