Types of Passports Available in Pakistan

Different Passport Colors

Validity Duration
You also have to choose the validity duration for your passport. You can either apply for a 5-year or a 10-year passport, depending on your needs.
Required Documents to Apply for a Passport in Pakistan
Above 18
- Evidence of passport fee payment
- Original CNIC with a copy (or NICOP)
- Original expired passport with photocopies (if previously issued)
- NOC if you are a government employee
- If dual national, bring your foreign passport
- In case of a lost passport, bring a police report with the passport number
Below 18
- Evidence of fee payment
- Parents’ CNIC/Passport originals and photocopies
- Must apply with a guardian or parent
- In case of parents’ separation or divorce, a custody paper or court grant is required
- In case of a guardian, bring a guardian certificate issued by the court
- If dual national, bring your foreign passport with a copy
- If either parent is deceased, bring a death certificate with a copy
- In case of a lost passport, bring a police report for the lost passport with its number
Important Instructions for Minors above and Below 10
- For minors age 10 or above: Provide the original updated Child Registration Certificate (CRC) with fingerprints and photographs or a juvenile card with a copy
- For minors below 10 years: Submit the B-Form/CRC or a family registration certificate
